I made sure to make the screenshot big enough to show the tavern, and part of the iron works so you know for sure it's a main castle.I am down a few hundred defenders from supporting friends during the last round of FC, and accidentally starving 1700 troops while in The Black Flag (hehe..whoops). Typically I try to keep at least 4k def, 3k of which is kingsguard.
Boi get'cho self sum more base food build items and high level normal food build items. And at least 15 Granaries.

Hey upload some mount and blade and also try out holdfast nations at war. Idk if you played mount and blade NW but that what holdfast is except better. If no one answered you, The def could've also been all range troops & range tools.
