lol....good to see the forum running to standard. Yes Prae MP had dropped but then lets take this ongoing war from its start. Cg in the initial phase of the war had a considerable influx of players which propped MP and hid the leavers from the war which Prae did not do. With no new influx and just leavers some CG players jumped to Musks. This left players stranded in CG where they then found themselves new playing homes leaving a few in CG where these accounts' greatest claim seems to be staying out of ruins without doing anything else....but of course keeping the door open for player return. Musks seemed to implode and we now have had an effective CG / Musks merge.
On both sides this ongoing war has not been for everyone and players have moved into non combatant alliances where I am sure they play the game as they wish....chill time, some eventing and some PvP.
CG continue to plough money into a game in a rather obsessive and self deluded concept that they are doing something remarkable and changing the world and that obsession seems to have lost them in the most simple principal of any MMO. The only winner is the game provider....feeding off those obsessions and the sense of self importance selling off pixel status for real and hard cash. Surely, we have all noticed how relentless this has become.....there is new food / wall item /decos seemingly on a weekly, the shop offers are now constant (and if they now set the price for troops / items can it truly be said they are on offer anymore), the wheel of Affluence is constant, the new sceat system only truly works on BTH / Outers rewards pretty much impossible to get without real money spent. But of course all of these things are a must have to be seen as better than the other players so hey lets spend even more.
Many players on the UK server have found a good game balance. They chill, they have fun and yes they spend some money as they event and PvP but never lose sight of the fact that it is a game played for fun. Who cares if you get the next great thing in a couple of months versus complete obsession to have it now and yes again reach for the credit card.
So yes CG keep telling yourselves you are doing something significant as most players who have stuck in this war will be pretty unmoved, will continue to do Outers and BTH, continue to event and continue to game quite oblivious to all of the bluster we currently see and indeed as with life the game will simply roll on

always next war you can join musks when cg leave and rejoin musks again and again and again
