So the "elephant in the room" is really a giraffe with a medical degree... Dr. Giraffe has declared war on our entire server, but is not mentioned anywhere in forum. I've yet to see a b/r where they've lost anything, Theyt play with open gates, and no one is posting any possible remedy here. I "get" the whole- it's a war game- deal with it guys, but these hackers are ruining the game for people who spend money too... I am starting to lose players again to frustration, almot as bad as the attack screen fiasco.

UK server is down to less than 2k actives - from well over 25k 10 tears ago - the latest updated just seem to help the VPN players despite GGS stating they are cracking down - as suggested before there should be a fixed currency for each server - if you are playing on US1 = $ on UK1 + £ - etc. ! that would some - perhaps many of the ruby cheats .Sentinel114 (US1) said:So the "elephant in the room" is really a giraffe with a medical degree... I am not sure that is strictly true. Anyone can look at statistics but they need to be interpreted correctly. Personally, I am always looking at the looting stats, from the one who loots the most, to the one who gets the minimum (56 resources) and I have always found that the server has between 1,750 - 1,850 active players for the last 6 years, and this year alone, the amount of active players per sunday night is just over the average. Secondly, 10 years ago, there was never 25k players on this server. Capitals were brought out back late 2012 and there were capitals per 10k population on the server. We only had one at that time. By the same token, the US server had about 3 capitals in green, simply because their server had a great deal more number of active players. Just as the number of players expand, the number of CoPs expand too to give others a chance.

So now the hacker group "Dr. Giraffe" have changed their name to Soft Kittens (the space is significant). They have taken the name of 1 of the major alliances on the US Server, by placing a space between SoftKittens. A group that is certainly not happy about their named being assimilated. We'll just have to wait and see what they have in store next... Sure glad GGE is playing along- would hate to have them step in and spoil their fun- I don't know- maybe investigate the hackers origins possibly allowing people a break from the constant threat of an invincible enemy, from whom no one is safe. I have 1/2 an allinace of no shows for the upcoming BTH event because of it...But you know it "is" a war game...

Very few people post on the forum nowadays. Love the tumbleweed referrence! Our entire server seems to be slowly turning into that western town- and the only thing moving are tumbleweeds.
