A game where at one stage you are so addicted that you don't even think of quitting and the other stage when you feel it so boring that you may just quit esp. after this whole new setup of the forums

According to the timeline found on the GGS website, Empire was released in August of 2011.

Indeed – For me, each time I quit, the forum always draws me back, which, in turn, subtly persuades me to start playing the game again.

That could be because of a few reasons; you haven't been playing Empire for as long as I have, so you might not have had enough time to get bored, what with the massive server war over on your end. The last server war we had was two or three years ago, and, when you don't have much action, the game becomes boring.
Or, you just might not get bored of the game at all. I know that a lot of the things we have today weren't around in 2013, the year in which I played and posted the least.
I'm currently Level 40, so I've just entered the Burning Sands, and, honestly, this is the highest level I've ever been.
