Just to bring this up, if the offer says "This is worth 100k rubies!" or something like that Don`t believe that.
2000 rubies + 2000 rubies = 4000 rubies worth.
70.000 coins is worth around 6900 rubies. There is 140.000 coins so 13.800 rubies
50.000 stone worth around: 7200 rubies.
50.000 wood worth around: 8500 rubies
50.000 food worth around 7000 rubies
So...
That package is worth around 40.000 rubies NOT 52.000 rubies...
Quite interesting huh?

I don't know why our numbers differs, when I do the calculations according to the current Travelling Merchant's prices for example Wood - 50k - theres 5k, 12.5k and 30k wood as per offer, so if we buy the 1 (30k) pack and 4 (5k) pack (which looks the most efficient) that should 6750 rubies (30k) + 4*1250 rubies (5k) = 11750 rubies in total
As for Stone - 50k - same 5k, 12.5k and 30k for a different set of rubies, for 50k like wood 30k +4 (5k) = 5940 + 4*1100 =10340 rubies
For food - 50k - 30k + 4(5k) = 4860+4*900= 8460 rubies
Coins are worth around 15k
Add the whole lot and you get nearly 50k . (dun think im a gge employ XD)
The costs can vary from time to time, there maybe different methods to buy the above which give different results, hope this satisfies

Also, in reality something is worth what you'd pay for it. So for me:
4000 rubies = 4000 rubies
70,000 coins = 0 rubies
50,000 wood = 0 rubies
50,000 stone = 0 rubies
50,000 food = 0 rubies
So basically I'm buying 6,500 rubies for 10,500 rubies, which is less than a 100% bonus deal
4000 rubies = 4000 rubies
70,000 coins = 0 rubies
50,000 wood = 0 rubies
50,000 stone = 0 rubies
50,000 food = 0 rubies

the point of this is that your getting things for free, and everyone keeps using different costs for different items. i would say that akhil has done the best job so far, actually comparing costs of items to other more permanent offers from places such as the traveling merchant.
fujiwara compared the cost to what they consider it to be, but in reality, the ruby-to-resource cost probably deals more with the fact that you get all the goods instantly into your main castle, and can even hold more then normal. so if you bought 50K food when you had the max food already, your food would then be 50K over the limit.. maybe normally those resources are not worth much, but that is either over a period of hours-days to produce that much, or the time, coins, troops, and tools needed to farm that, compared to getting it instantly with no cost, in addition to the stuff you already farm and produce
so yes, it does charge rubies for regular resources, and you may not consider it worth buying, but others may want to get that 50K food now to keep their troops from starving, or they are trying to upgrade something and need resources fast.
not to mention that the deal is not asking for much. it is only 6-7$ of rubies to get all that bonus stuff, and in all likelihood, its an offer for a lower level player.
