Hi. I FINALLY thought there was a way for non ruby buyers to get rubies, but turns out not to be the case. Oh well. I need lucky pennies, and the only way I can see is to buy rubies and get them in offers which is kind of a catch-22. You need to buy rubies to get rubies without buying rubies. How do I get them without buying rubies?

(I never buy rubies not really because I have a grudge against GGE's aggressive "rubyification" of the entire game, but because I never buy IAPs anyway.)

It has to do with the number of coins and your level I think. I'm level 60 something. Around that level you can start seeing them more often at 500k + coins.

The more coins you have the better missions you get.

That actually depends on your level.

I got 3 lucky pennies for exactly 12500 coins with 1 hour skip time and 5 tickets. and I am Level 46. So yes, I think it depends on your level.

I am level 23 and I somehow had 2 lucky pennies. I also refuse to purchase rubies. I read one comment chastising those who won't buy rubies.
Sorry dude, but they can make money other ways. This game sort of popped up from another site I was on. I didn't ask for it. I will play for free unless it becomes obvious that I cannot succeed without paying for rubies.

There ought to be other ways to obtain rubies besides buying them or having to pay fifty thousand coins for them.

There is by looting robber barons, towers, fortresses they give enough. Also some quests give rubies too.

you can pick up 2 coins in each sami nomad event , plus beris , also as was stated be active hit rbcs and do upgrades , many times you can get 100 or 200 rubies just for full filling game achievments , like upgrading your equipment .
