I invited a friend and they joined.  They have gotten to lvl 10 and still growing.

However, I sent the e-mail, they clicked on it and have been playing.  I got neither credit points for invite, nor rubies for them reaching lvl 10.

How do I get these items?

Respectfully,

SuperDune.

Thank you, but I had to no avail and no answer.  Thank you for your time and efforts to answer my question.  It is appreciated.  I'll hope it was a glitch and not disingenuous promotion at best.  Friend is at least enjoying themselves, so that counts for something too.

Respectfully,
SuperDune.

Hey SuperDune,

Did your friend make sure to register for the game through the link and on the same server as you?

Let me know and I'll see what I can do :)

Regards,

Steve.

She registered by clicking the link in the e-mail I sent to her, but she ended up on/in world 2.  Its not the same world I'm in as I joined weeks before her and am in another world in us server, not sure which world I'm in.  lol - most my alliance member don't know either, but they know its a US server is all, not what world however :)  She's having fun, we all are.  She ended up in the same world as my wife (world 2) I'm the only one who is in my current server/world, but I have a good alliance and happy here :); they are doing well in their world as well.  Just was wondering about that friends e-mail credit and then her having gotten to lvl 10.  Neither paid up - but that didn't stop us from playing :)

Thanks for your time and efforts,

SuperDune.

Hey SuperDune,

No problem at all, I'm happy to help where I can! It looks like that'll be the issue, since the player that registers has to be on the same server as you. Unfortunately, they'll have to re-register for your server if you want to receive rewards.

Hope this clears things up for ya! Have a great day :)

Regards,

Steve.

Steve, if GGE are going to offer a link to get friends to try to register. Wouldn't it be sensible to ensure that link registers them to the same server & gameworld as the sender ? Especially since the rewards offered seem to depend on that !

Can it be that hard to code as you need senders info to ensure rewards go to right server & gameworld in the first instance, don't you ?

Bigger issues have developed due to the non-award of having invited friend (actually wife on another account.  When she joined, she was using her ipad, I was on our household computer.

Both of us are paying for ruby's for each account on more than one occasion each.  We both wanted to play and join an alliance so we could play together, but unfortunately she signed into another world (but her e-mail is different than mine as is normal in our home).  Our two (2) sons ages 16 and 17 would like to play but now we are finding that only one member of a household can play using the computer in the household.  This would have been four adults from our household playing and paying as well.  But if they must use only their phones or ipads because I used the household computer to join and not they are barred from playing on our home computer....it looks like the entire family will likely just end up losing our money and an opportunity to play together as a family unit.

Seems really odd that this is or would be a general rule of operation and hoping this is a "glitch" that can be straightened out in a reasonable fashion.  Otherwise both wife and I have invested in a game thinking we could enlist a new family thing to do together and ended up being ripped off instead.

Please explain and help if possible.

Respectfully,

Our family and household members who wanted to play the game (BUT???) .

@GB1 above:

I had her start a new account in US 1 server where I am ..... her user name zonehitter1 (she also purchased ruby's as she did in another world mentioned in previous discussions above).

However...even though we are now allegedly in US1 - neither of us are able to locate each other and the message is always the same : PLAYER NOT FOUND.

Ridiculous guys and gals.... come on, you folks are computer techs .... why is these problems occurring in a game we have invested in with cold hard cash?

[4152573] SuperDune (US1) [None] :: Oct. 10, 2015, 6 p.m.
Also note:  She can NOT access either of her world's to play using our home computer.  She can use only her ipad when playing.  In fact she can't even use our computer for either world... why?

What is going on folks?  Please explain.

Also note:  Many other members in my alliance have responded when I asked in the alliance chat that they too have invited friends and that NONE of them ever got the award either.  They don't think its even hooked up to work ...and that's now the way I am seeing it after inviting two different people (both of which are now lvl 30's and never received even an acknowledged message from this game for same.  Never got the awards either.

So why wouldn't everyone feel this way folks?  It seems like a con-game (not saying it is) when it doesn't have to even appear this way if things were on the up and up.

Or am I mistaken?

Is your wife perhaps playing Empire : 4 Kingdoms? That's actually a different game.

It appears it "depends"  on what kind of device a "friend" uses to sign up to play.

I am on our home PC.  She used her I-Pad to join.

I can not access my game on any device other than my home PC. I have tried to access this game under my user name here on my phone and an I-Pad.  Neither will let me in w/ message "PLAYER NOT FOUND".

She can not access her game on anything but her I-Pad. Her message is "PLAYER NOT FOUND" on any device other than the one she joined with.

So it appears that if a "FRIEND" you invite joins using a device other than the one you invite with (in my case a home PC) as she did using her I-Pad....they will NOT be in the same game or world even as when you invited them.  In order for her to join the world I am currently in, she has to use our home PC that I use.  However, unfortunately that would get us both banned as it doesn't allow the same IP address, same PC for a single household.  That means only one person in the household can join to play per device.  Effectively, she can never play in this world along w/ me due to her having to play via the same PC I am using now.

So....no award, no family teams from the same household....never.

They should make that clear as we both have invested in the game thinking we would be playing the same game....but its a totally different game for Phones, I-Pads, PC's, LapTops, - and awards are never paid out due to that.  Only if I invite another "friend" who happens to use a PC at a different IP than mine "will I ever see an award for inviting a friend to play.

Horrible way to conduct business, I "HAVE" to be home on my PC even to access my game here.  YUCK!
