For the nomad gear...
"karahk" is the name of when of the pieces of equipment you can buy... drop off the K, and you have the name of the sword the Dothraki from game of thrones wield. (arahk)
The theme of the event is very similar to the Dothraki from GoT/
Dorgo is the name of one of their greatest leaders aparently... waiting, Dorgo?Sounds like Drogo to me.
Now we know- a developer at GGE is a game of thrones fan.

you can claim any number of things are based on anything else. in my college english class one time, my professor gave us an assignment. take a movie, book, or show, and say it is based on _____, and then show your reasoning. one person said that batman the dark knight was based on george bush.

This isn't so vague though. This is grossly similar, based on a popular TV show that today is probably as well known as Bush.

Alternate name for war between the houses, the current focus of the series. I would say war of the 4 kings but that's never actually referenced in the book.
A lot of focus on Lannister v. Stark (and how you can never kill them, starks will always be in the North). But still focus on independent factions like Dorne who can't be conquered but won't take sides or the Eyrie where the best fighters are but remain unpledged.
Not to mention the houses pledged to each side.
