Okay my biggest problem is that if you wish to buy get acquire tickets to play W o F it is the not knowing who you are playing against , and what you have to beat, so this is where it becomes grey , for all i know i could play against a machine.

If they had the correct licenses, the would be the odds would be regulated and published for the player to access.BIGTtheMULLER (INT1) said:Okay my biggest problem is that if you wish to buy get acquire tickets to play W o F it is the not knowing who you are playing against , and what you have to beat, so this is where it becomes grey , for all i know i could play against a machine.

steve just said when you play games like that, your winning prizes of equal or greater value. there is a CHANCE that you will win a smaller prize, but then there is also a CHANCE that you will win a bad piece of gear when attacking a tower. there is a bit of chance in every game.
Regardless of weather or not you pay to play, the fact they give monetary value to the prizes (which they do) and are games of chance (which they are) makes it gambling.

I don't think this has anything to do with the weather.Lord Mojo (GB1) said:Regardless of weather or not you pay to play, the fact they give monetary value to the prizes (which they do) and are games of chance (which they are) makes it gambling.

what monetary value do they give? its a simple trade. i feed the game X and it gives me back Y. maybe the Y i get will be more valuable then something else in the game, but that does not mean it has real monetary value, it just means that its more suited to whatever your trying to accomplishLord Mojo (GB1) said:furture (US1) said:him and his big brain apparently

if prizes from the wheel of fortune have monetary value, then they must take away all prizes from hitting towers, most of the events, commander and castellan gear, and PO items. because you know, you can win those things in other areas of the game, but only through "chance", of getting lucky through hitting the right tower, or only if you have a good "chance" of winning an event.
the mods already said everything is covered, and i seriously doubt that you have contacted any proper authorities, and based on the fact that the game is still up and running, i would say nothing is being done.

they know longer give a monetary value, they have updated the game and changed £'s to rubies on the ads, still brainwashing kids into gambling away there pocket money and wasting it on pieces of code.
You lot need to start standing up for the kids rather than taking the hump with me.
When I was I child we made toy swords and wooden castles to play with (they were free!) no one tried indoctrinating us into consumerist cash cows, I feel sorry for them.

I know. The game used to be playable. Now it's more of a tycoon enterprise.Lord Mojo (GB1) said:they know longer give a monetary value, they have updated the game and changed £'s to rubies on the ads, still brainwashing kids into gambling away there pocket money and wasting it on pieces of code.

"Hey, kids, come here! I have a great deal for you; give us cash and I'll give you something that doesn't exist!"

I stand corrected I have just had an ad offering "£150" in tickets rubies and wishing well coins, when I spend "£25" using the "exclusive special offer of 100% bonus"

I have a similar one that says worth 16 pounds for 2,000 rubies. Say, how much are rubies worth in real money? Nothing. Not even a scrap of mouldy bread. Alright folks,
Closing this thread down now as it's getting us nowhere. At the end of the day, there is no issue here and regardless of your opinion on the sale of rubies, it's something that we have to do to support the game as a whole, and it's down to the individual player to decide whether or not they want to spend their money.
Regards,
Steve.
