im leaving GGE, after having played through the game several times (although this last account of mine was fairly inactive, mostly just a troll account). its been fun, but as i have said before, the game has become something completely else from what i originally signed up to play. its been great getting to know so many different people. i have seen some people post their stories of their game life, so here is mine.
i restarted the game as furture after running out of time to play the game in the server war on USA1. i was only able to get online for a few minutes at a time, and only a couple times a day, occasionally being on for an hour or 2 on the weekends. not nearly enough for all the recruiting and defending and everything required for the server war.
i decided that since i was quitting that account which was on a server war, i had a little free time, and since a new account does not eat up to much time....
when i started i quickly reached level 12, then tapered off for a bit, taking days at a time to go up each level. at around level 14, i ran into my first challenge, the alliance hoivikk44, which i strongly suspect of being only multis. since i joined the game, only 1 of their members leveled up at all, and even though they never level up, they all stay in the game. they also have very similar names, or castle names suggsting relation to each other, making me more suspicious.
i did a little war on them, but whoever ran their accounts was not active on them, so i quickly won that battle, and farmed them for a couple weeks, saboing them and getting great rewards for shady lady hits. they quickly were no threat to me
after that i drifted in and out of alliances for a while, not finding any good alliances who would take in a measly low level as myself, past experience notwithstanding, and the only thing to entertain me being nomads, samurai, and other occasional events. these events did however fund me with lots of coins
after that while of nothingness, i encountered another group, the alliance "valiant". they hit me 1 time, so i returned the favor to the same guy. they quickly sent 2 more hits at me, and another mini war ensued. this time however, several other alliances, all low level, all claiming to be un-afiliated, started "randomly" hitting me. i say "randomly", because what are the odds of 5 other random alliances, of whom i have never had contact, all coming at me at the same time, starting with the mini war against the alliance valiant? it seems my odds are great indeed to have run into so many other multis.
after a few days of back and forth, in which i had empty castles looted repeatedly, and lost a few armies of weak troops, and in which i destroyed a couple thousand of their precious prize troops (imperials, samurai, ruby troops, etc) as well as some defense, i decided to play possum. i told their leader i quit, and shockingly, all the attacks, from all 5 "un related alliances" stopped simultaneously.
after a few days of play possum, i entered the ice kingdom, my true goal being the enemy RVs. valiant is not a large alliance, and they had only 4 RVs, and only 1 was close to their main castle. i quickly snatched 3 of them and dropped them, and sent kind PMs to people near them informing them of the opening of an RV near them.
and now, my tale is almost to an end. i have decided that fairplay rules for the most part are a joke, making it so that owners of property can keep 1 troop in whatever they occupy, and not have to defend them. well now, any RVs, labs, monuments, whatever i spy and find undefended, i take and drop. its not personal, i making some actual fair changes to the game. if you wish to own it, defend it.
as i have said, i am quitting already, and as i also said, the events have funded me many coins, so i have a good 100K to recruit my level 1-2 barracks troops to steal any undefended property i see, and no fear of repercussions since i have quit.
so farewell all, and thanks for letting me play the game. signing off for now, but i will pop back again to take some more un defended stuff.
a special thanks to all who have befriended me, and to MISC and KON both. you both had some big ****** in your groups, but for the most part your great groups, and my interactions has been fun and banter-ous.

just a few minutes later, here is the result of my RV experiment
-i get called a psycho and child molester
-i get told to play by the rules (i did, the real rules)
-im told i will burn after i already tell them im quitting
-im told i have no idea what fair playing is (consider how fair it is to expect to make up your own rules and not have to defend property. how dare i play a game within its actual rules)
-tons of swearing at me telling me to go steal from misc (sorry miscers)
-about an average of 3 PMs per alliance asking me what the heck im doing
-1/5 messages to me is actually kind or at least not freaking out
- i get told im misguided

reminds me of "the dark knight". anyone else remember what the joker said? allow me to adapt it

Lol this kids castle looks like hell. He didn't last long against Valiant. But yes Hoivik44 is 100% alts of gr8 gamer. We destroyed them awhile back easily. Good luck out there. Not really going to miss you. But my sabotage agents will.

besides, a lot of the indies or no name alliances with little power are actually more butthurt about RV theft then KON. really anyone gets all pissy when you start taking "their" property

and i believe i did quite well against you guys, doing 1 vs your group for a few days, and destroying quite a few troops and wasting almost every tool you sent at me. but then, that farming of my empty castles, and destroying a couple hundred macemen and crossbows, that takes some real skill there (sarcasm)

logged on today, about 30 sabos hit my various castles, and a few attacks, most from 3-4 groups whose RVs i took. people really get pissed in this game dont they?

As long as you didn't hurt (IE attempt to take rv's from) DT your good in my book

Well considering we are as close to a DT sub as you can get (DT doesn't except subs, just DT 2, their BROTHER alliance) and that I speak with PJ on a daily basis... yeah he hit DT RV's...

thank you to the alliances KnightsOfValor, the mighty tenth, DGAF, north star, quiver, cusaderknights, divine Empire, FK (accidental on that one), fianna, valiant, knight hawxs, force of gods, and SpartanByBlood, the reunited, the war kings, broken arrow, as well as a few others who did not bother to declare war on me for taking part in my little game of RV catch and release. i have enough coins for maybe 1 more day of the game, and then i am gone from GGE for good
thanks for all who had great banter ready for my RV game, and for those of you who acted like 2 year olds and threw fits. lots of laughs for me, a few laughs for you all, and tons of keyboard slamming all around

i attacked a RV with 3 wolves in it. i always send a split of melee and range, so as to not run into any surprises, or to at least keep surprises at a minimum.
someone in their alliance decided to send support. in the form of wolves. wolves=0 defense power against range troops. as i said i sent both range and melee troops....
so RIP 681 wolves.
