I have read enough in this Forum to know there are a lot of people concerned with issues, nearly all of which seem to stem from GGE's lack of care about the game. Whole pages in this forum devoted to the "LAG" experienced by a lot of players. The inability to be able to log on when all other web sites using the same search engine are functioning correctly.
I have had that experience a few times now. Apart from the cost of losing troops, RVs etc when the castles starve because of the inabilty to log on, the frustration factor builds up when the  dreaded LAG sets in.
I have no objection to GGE making money off of the site, but i really wish they would do something about it, instead of mumbling platitudes and sincerely hoping you will go away. The last time i could not log in i went through the normal routine. Send in a request to get it fixed. That was on a Saturday, silly me, they don' work on Saturday (or Sunday come to that). so it was Monday night when i received a reply (i am in Australia). Standard response, clear the cache etc, etc. Did all that, no difference. The problem somehow cleared itself (i did not do anything, and from the lack of response from GGE, neither did they). The next email from them was, "oh we see you have managed to log in !!" that was that, i do not think they did any follow up etc. When i complained about my troop losses, they were good enough to say they would give them back, and could i supply a print screen of before and after. FFS I COULD NOT LOG IN!! how do you get a print screen when you cant log in.
What i am saying is that with the amount of money GGE is making, they could look at improving the service to us, the people who actually pay their wages etc.
Sorry for the rant, but i feel better now. Off down the pub for a couple of beers!!

Yeah, for me, don't mind too much how GGE does business. What's best for business, right? Yet, I do hate the lag. And I think, before making more updates this should be resolved.
