Topic: [289050] Storm Island Bites a big one!!!

I busted hump and yes our alliance did reach its goal....but I wanted to get something for me while there and I did ...got that Kings Park...its 3400+ for that park in Aqua and its stuck in my construction box and can only be placed at or on storm Island!!! Not where I wanted it....I wanted it in my "main base" storage and it got stuffed into storms storage box.....come on guys - why would I want to put 3,400 aqua into a park on storm island just top have it washed away?????

Please put it in my storage box where I intended it to be transferred to -p-- my main base!!! This so rots.... can you or wil you put it where I can keep it and use it? I not only worked for it hard but I paid to stay at it as well! HELP???

Its worthless in storm island. I wanted it in my main. So what I'm being told is that "I'm just beat" out of that King's Park and the hours and cost of collecting in excess of 3,400 Aqua for nothing? That park should have been placed in my main base, not on storm island.

I'll never play in another event GoodGames holds. Not worth time or headaches associated when you can't even get and use the prizes a player works and pays for.

@SuperDune (US1) When you win a Deco there is usually a little menu underneath the Deco in the announcement which allows you to send the Deco to the desired castle or realm.
If it hasn't appeared then your best bet is to send a ticket to support to try to get it sorted.

What the second poster was asking was that if you had noticed the menu, as first time around it's easy to miss and the default place is the realm or castle that the Deco was won... thus it would be Storm, in your case.

All of this because of a park? You can build parks for resources, so using aqua for them isn't even very logical, especially compared to the much better things you can get for aqua. You could just capture 1 aqua rv and get way more than the 3,400 aqua you spent.

@Snake Plissken: It was Aqua that I had left over after the alliance reached their goal. That's why I got the park.

The Aqua can not be saved from event to event I am told, so why not get a park and have it in another base?

Also, can things like the park and other such items purchased be placed in the storehouse and then shipped with other resources to another base? That might be an alternative to simply counting it up as a loss? Not sure about what can and can not be transferred in this fashion. Also, what happens to the extra Aqua at the end of the event a player has accumulated during the event....should it be spent on perhaps men and those transferred w/ resources?

Hours, many hours. Not everyone is equipped as you to capture resource islands. Did you not at one time "start out" as a new player learning Snake? You act like you were a veteran going into the game minus a learning curve. If all you can do is judge others, perhaps you have nothing of substance to offer anyone but your own ego and arrogance? Help or step away, pretty simple.

I am aware of how the aqua and resources work in SI at the end of the event. I thought I was clear on why I wouldn't get a park... they can be built with wood and stone and there are lots of better things you can get with aqua that you can't get with just wood and stone.

No, none of your decorations will return to your main castle at the end of the event.
Yes, you should spend your aqua before the end of the event because it will be washed away. You could use it on troops or you could get some other valuable tools or equipment from Luna's trade boat.

It does not take long to capture and hold an Aqua resource island. I can assure you, I did start out just like you and everyone else. I was simply saying that you seem to be making a big deal about losing a park, even going as far to say that you aren't going to ever do another event?? That's ludicrous and childish. If you build your castle efficiently, you'll be destroying the parks anyways.

I have given you more help on this matter than I should have, given the way you keep acting like a child. You are a much higher level than many players were in my alliance when they started capturing aqua rvs. There are simple strategies to work around players that are struggling with capturing aqua rvs and it's a shame your alliance didn't figure that out.

Just pushed on and made enough to get the flag pole. Same thing, no box available to transport the deco back to the main land. Both King's Park and Flag pole remain in storage box on storm. Both will be lost. Sorry folks, its not worth the time and efforts afforded to play this board for me. You can decide for yourselves. And, don't go for the "did you click the right box" for what base you wanted those deco's items to be placed".....there is no choice made available. Glictch or dead beat matters not, both are lost and will not play that event again.

there is a choice.

A popout will pop up that tells you you got a PO item.

Your storm castle name will be shown as default.

Click on your storm castle name.

Then a list of your castles will pop up.

Click on the castle you want to put the deco in.

and why not simply get the good troops... better way then spending on parks...

Mod, can't be storm, because the time you win the deco, storm is closed. If the menu doesn't appear, it will be in head castle (grass).

buying deco with aqua @ Luna's, it's to give players on option to gain decoration without they need to spend resources & time to build it.

Storm is all about aqua and building boats, to gain points, and to complete the alliance goal, if they have one.

You don't need to hunt on aqua, or be active in storm after opening it. You can use it, to gain extra tools, build some more houses and gain a bit of extra taxes, etc.

I build parks in storm, instead of gardens, building 4 parks instead of 3 gardens, gains some more public order, and still, it's much cheaper to build compairing the resources. You might loose this profit, if you have to expand one more time.

Basically, the issue is that: this game is all about CASH.

So spend more money and support the people who plan on how to rake in the money. LOL
