Returning player here, just finished my first week after being back.

Did they take daily tasks out of the game? I have no tab in my quest window where it used to be.

No.

But GGE has admitted that they randomly take some minor game functions out for certain players for periods- expecially the daily task menu, and mercenaries.

I have NEVER had the daily tasks tab. I got my wife to start playing, and she has it. Now I am jealous....

The developers are doing some experimenting and testing so there may be people with a different type of daily tasks...

Apparently, a select few of people have a super-daily task that gives tons of rewards including 250+ rubies a day.
