In two months I would have been in Empire for three years. In that time I have enjoyed being a participant but now comes the game changer. The cost to play, grow and advance is no longer supported by the rewards. The only way to play the game now is at a loss. Events and challenges do not give the reward value relative to cost. Being on a fixed income I have, for nearly three years, dedicated every penny of my entertainment dollar to GG, sometimes more. Regrettably, I must now seek a new game to play. To bad! I really enjoyed Empire.

I understand what you mean. But I am sure it is a classification of your status on the forum, not as a player of the game.

Too bad Lord...maybe bird it up for a bit and see what changes, take a break. It's a big investment to just toss away, trust me.

The idea is a simple one, subhawk... While Empire expands the parameters of the game and makes more and more "junk" available to it's players it also takes what is needed to progress within the game and moves it farther out of reach. The game itself has so many problems now it is no longer enjoyable. Sitting and waiting for things to load is not an attribute. Waiting for awards that never come is also an undesirable experience. Lag for all players causes lost men, (both due to inaccurate metering and attacks that land before a horn shows) and time that are often, (in times of war) disastrous. It boils down to a simple equation... The game wants more and is only willing to give less for it.

Of course I remember u, even though it has been more than a year. (closer to 2 I think?) I don't take rv's any longer. LOL!

Except and unless it is a nasty war situation.

I have decided to stay for a bit. What can I say... other than I like the game.
