At the beginning it can change very quickly and show dramatic percentages, as one team could all be in bed asleep while the other has hit 3 towers and so has mad 3 times more progress than the other (not quite right in mathematical terms, lol)

exactly.

right now on my server it is 50/50

earlier it was 75/25.
