So, if a friend and I want to play together but his is on his phone I'm on pc how would that work? I've tried inviting him (didn't work) and he started a game but I can't find his castle..

First of all, check you are on the same server, it looks like you are on US 1, check he is too, make sure he is playing on the browser version, as the mobile version is on different servers completely from the browser version. After this, search for his player name and you should be able to find it if you type it correctly.

If he is on phone and you are on PC then you cant do it. Mobile devices have E4K (Empire: 4 Kingdoms) and PC is GGE (Goodgame Empire)

The phone and PC empire games are not the same. If you want to play together, you both have to play on the same platform.

Tell your friend to download puffin and play GGE on that
