So to start off its quite shocking not one CM has made a statement on the matter, of the nomads.
Now you give us this http://prntscr.com/a2b7xp
First off, we have been lied to by a CM that this building was only ever going to cost res for purchases, not sure why i believed you there.
Secondly, a 1% discount, really?
Thirdly. What the bloody hell is this new building anyway, i paid 85,500 res for 3 more defenders on the wall? Are you serious? If i want anything else i need open the bank account for 5% extra treatment speed?
Ah well, time for another 5 days of foreign soon

Hey FamousJohn,
To start with, we've actually made many statements regarding the Nomads. Check the official announcements section, i've been trying to keep you guys as best informed as possible. If there's something out of place, do let me know, but if there was something that occurred within the past hour, I wasn't here to give you any information. Inf act, I've been in a meeting with other departments to discuss all the feedback from you guys, so please don't think I'm ignoring you.
Regarding the building, there was no lie here. I told you guys that the building would not cost rubies to construct, which was 100% true. The methods of finding Build Items were noted in the patch notes too; Right now they are available for purchase, or through events (keep your eyes peeled tomorrow!), and in the future they'll be available in many different ways, even crafting.
For the discount, thanks for the feedback. I'm not entirely sure whether this was a bug or not, but I'll forward it on to the team.
Finally, it may seem a little barren for now, but the Construction Yard and the Build Items will really have a huge effect in the long run. They'll be available for many different buildings, have a variety of effects and aesthetics and even be craft-able. We know that the feature isn't amazing right now, but trust me, it's going to be something huge when it gets expanded on.
If there's anything else that I can help with, please don't hesitate to send me a PM.
Best regards,
Steve.

can you link where you said only the building would not cost rubies? all i see is in the discussion about the update where you said "it" would not cost rubies. everyone thought we were discussing the update instead of just the building there. but i guess we were all the fools that thought GGE would make an update that wasn't ruby heavy. your deceptive truth allowed us to believe that for a few hours anyway.CM Arcanine said:Hey FamousJohn,

Here the players go again thinking they've been cheesed. They think the CMs are lying, they think that the world is so honest as well. Rubies are worth nothing. It is a game we're talking about, not a government issue.commando (US1) said:can you link where you said only the building would not cost rubies? all i see is in the discussion about the update where you said "it" would not cost rubies. everyone thought we were discussing the update instead of just the building there. but i guess we were all the fools that thought GGE would make an update that wasn't ruby heavy. your deceptive truth allowed us to believe that for a few hours anyway.CM Arcanine said:Hey FamousJohn,

Ehhh. . .some people (not me) actually spend MONEY on this game so saying rubies are worth nothing is wrong as they used CASH to BUY RUBIES!tomtomtomwest (GB1) said:Here the players go again thinking they've been cheesed. People think rubies are worth something, but they aren't. They are simply a string of code. You can't trade rubies in for real money. I can get rubies for FREE. They are a component in a GAME, not a real currency.ShadowOfEvil (GB1) said:Ehhh. . .some people (not me) actually spend MONEY on this game so saying rubies are worth nothing is wrong as they used CASH to BUY RUBIES!tomtomtomwest (GB1) said:Here the players go again thinking they've been cheesed. yes but if people want to buy them let them seriously I get annoyed at the buyers who make themselves look good the ones that go to level 70 in a day the whales they annoy me because all the updates have a large part for them while 90% of players will never get most of the update so like i'm saying on a different thread why is GGE so popular? answer me

New players join the game, when you start off the game isn't half bad. It's really at around lv40 you begin to realise how much of an advantage ruby buyer have over you and by then you spent too much time on the game to just quit
