Um...has it occurred to anyone posting on these forums that there are kids reading this stuff?
And that maybe their parents don't want them learning language like "cock up", "moth*r*f*ck*r*", "f*ckin ridiculous" (oh come on, a three year old could fill in the stars) and so on?
And that calling GGE "a bunch of criminals" for something they did in an online GAME, for bleeps sake, when there are real criminals and terrorists out there killing real people every day is about as ridiculously out of proportion as the American presidential candidate Donald Trump suggesting that a wall should be built across the entire US-Mexico border because there are some, often desperate, people crossing that border without the formalities of the usual immigration process? Come on, get some perspective here.

1) GGS's own terms of service state that kids 12 and below should not be playing this at all, but even if they do they should have permission by their parents. Firstly, tbh at 13 kids over here know way more than what you stated above, so it wouldn't matter anyway. And, if they are minors, they should have gotten their parents' permission and thus it becomes the parents' responsibility to monitor their child's use of the game(s), including associated forums. Furthermore, even if some kids below 13 do sign in without their parents' consent, it's still up to the parents to find out and stop the use of the game(s), if they do not allow it. Here, I pasted the ToS here in case you couldn't be bothered to look it up: "2.3 Children under 13 years of age are not permitted to register. Minors over 13 years of age may only register with the permission of their legal guardians and, in the case that the respective game or service has an age rating, only after reaching the minimum age requirement." Besides, you aren't going to be able to stop every single one swearing, especially in a game where the devs mess up so much. So, unless you have a world record for stopping drugs, smoking, gambling, and so on, I suggest you give it up and "get some perspective" 2) So petty crimes like stealing, scamming and what has been shown to be done by GGS on multiple fronts, including here and in the game itself, FALSE (ONLINE) ADVERTISING, should not be considered crimes, and the people who commit them should not be considered a bunch of criminals, just because there are big crimes being done like terrorism and bloody murder? This is a blatant leap of logic, and again, I think you should "get some perspective" |

This^ , might as well say stealing isn't a crime because terrorism is more serious.Xanthos (GB1) said:
