@Some guy5 (GB1) Thing is, the Samurai this time around aren't supposed to be long term. Since they're part of the Spring Festival, it's supposed to add to the challenge that we have all of the events involved running shorter.

why run it shorter though especially since the last 3 months we havent seen a nomad sams longer then 3 days. any reason the devs have?

@blackflames (US1) As mentioned above, it's for the event. If the events were longer during the Spring Festival, there'd be no need for us to have a rotation of events. Players could just choose one, stick to it and get all of the rewards. We want the event to be rewarding, but challenging at the same time.

Yeah the thing is you said that during the ice event too but remember what happened after the ice event ended? The events stayed short...

Its been about a third of a year since we've had a nomand/samurai thats lasted a week... For christ sake why do you just keep making up more terrible excuses for why the events short promising its only temporary but then never giving us a normal event...

I can see where you're coming from, and it's feedback that I'll make sure is directed to the proper team members, but at the moment this won't change as the long term event is running. All of the events as a whole should be shorter. 

Also; as i stated last time this came up, we've been trying out different duration's, but nothing is to say that the shorter general duration's are permanent. We're analyzing your feedback and it's possible that we'll extend the regular Nomad/Samurai times in the future.

the thing we dont like is that the nomads/sams are short then a week long FI making all our effort seem for nothing because points per glory is flawed durring monthly event

I will translate, 2-3 days we have looked at the data and it is the length of event that requires maximum ruby spend to compete.

Longer and you can gain too many rewards by building res tools and waiting for cooldowns.  Shorter and it doesnt give you long enough to use all your skips and ruby tools.

Event is up and running.. Looks like Ice Championship event. just new skin. Development team must of worked over time to come up 'new' update.

Is the server down for anyone else?  I've activated my bonus and am at about 90 points or so and need to keep my points growing.   Real piss take, because it's just being wasted.
