Topic: [302880] Error with Nobility Contest?

My Nobility Contest says recruit units with at least 118 Melee attack power or 98 Range attack power--

How can I do that when I have fully upgraded barracks (level 5) and the highest I can recruit is 2-hand sword at 109 melee attack and heavy crossbow at 92 range attack?

Veteran macemen/crossbowmen are the minimum troop strength that you need and it only requires that amount at level 70/51-69. If you are at these levels you should have already researched these troops.

But I am only regular level 51--not Legendary-- and my research tower was just recently upgraded to level 2.

You still have to research the vets to take part. They are one of the most important things at your levels for attacking and defending. The nobility contest will be that hard from level 51 onwards

Thanks for responding. I DO plan to research the vets, but they are unobtainable right now because there are many research tasks that I have to complete before even reaching them since I just upgraded my research tower to level 2. Maybe it is possible for ruby buyers to rush through, but I am not a buyer.

I still think it is ridiculous to have that as my Nobility Contest task since the contest only runs a short time and there is NO WAY for me to obtain the goals at this point.
