Really. 

If Beri is active and we are "supposedly" gathering gallantry points - why am I losing 10% per day. 

In the Kingdom event its turned off so you can accumulate. 

Is this yet another GGS Screw up?

No, they just did that in one of the latest updates, or whatever..

Now you lose Gallantry points everyday, no matter if event is on or off!..

10% is  a bit of a joke - but I suppose it something youll have to spend cash on if you want to get a rank up to something decent.  Another perfect design to alienate certain customers which wouldn't get them to refer a friend.... No wonder the server is dying.

You only used to lose points when berimond wasn't active.

I doubt it would change now though with the two events that allow you to attain points

Is this a joke?

My gallantry points are dropping by 10% every day.. I thought this was just above a certain level, like with glory points - so when you reach 40,000 gallantry and the title, above that it's 10% loss per day...? Right now, i'm losing 10% and i'm back to Widowmaker in 3 days!! In two weeks i'll be back to nothing.

For me to maintain 40,000 gallantry and Deathclaw title, I need to run 30 hits on the watchtower, per day, without using bonus tools, just to maintain the 10% loss.. I'd need to run 100 hits a day to maintain the 10% loss whilst the game isn't active and the points continue to drop.. That's with NO actual progress. I'd need to do more to actually get my title higher.

What sort of game is this? What sort of people have time in their lives to achieve just this one feat, never mind having to loot towers, defend, play storm islands, samurai etc... without spending $100 a day?

 GGE mustn't actually play the game they keep butchering.

for those who wonder: yes they have made the decay of beri points daily just like the glory points, therefor it will decrease above 35k (i believe) by 10% daily. 
I see alot of people aren't really happy with this.. If you have a reasonable suggestion on how this could be more postive, please let us know so they can discuss this.

Oh its not that hard.

The loss of Widowmaker (20% Food Bonus) at a largely unforeseen moment has a DRAMATIC impact on food levels. Especially for those running a negative castle or OP. Its an absolute disaster.

1.     Lower the Gallantry level to maintain Widowmaker - this is the crux of the issue I feel

2.     Have some kind of VISIBLE warning (perhaps a mail similar to Drill Instructor etc bonuses) when players are close so players can account for such a DRAMATIC impact on food shortages.

NOTE

20% Food loss overnight can easily end up in thousands of troops deserted when you wake up in the morning.

I've just posted in the other gallantry discussion, but I will add to this too.

It's difficult to make a positive suggestion for development, without first understanding what the goal of the changes were. If GGE want people to spend rubies on carts to maintain this title, then participation in Berimond wil drop dramatically. If they wanted to level the playing field a little, where are they trying to level it to? What is the purpose here?

For me, I want to be able to recruit imperials and try and get the 20% food bonus. I play every day, for long periods, and this is no longer sustainable, with other event participation too, without huge investment in rubies.

I would set the decay at realistic levels, possibly more staggered - 2% up to 45k, 5% up to 120k 10% above, so all levels of players are impacted at manageable levels. It also needs to go back to no decay during the event. It needs to be clear how often the event will be on. Having more Beri events to counteract the decay is not an option, the resources needed to play need time to be built. 

The event needs to be sustainable for different levels of player. We will surely see a huge drop in participation over the next few months until Beri is only for huge ruby players. Power points across the whole game will drop massively.

i have checked this issue with Steve,
for the time being the 10% decrease won't change seeing the berimond titles are suppose to be an extra harder boost title to get.
they will discuss it once again in the coming weeks but nothing can be promised.

@Stevemass (GB1) There's always the possibility that it could change, but what you have to realise is that it's intended for these titles to be difficult to maintain. Perhaps 10% is a bit too much, but it's something that we'll have a look at.

obviously common sense is not very common as it is not hard to maintain lvl when the event is not running it's imposible sure have decay while event is on leave it at 10% if that is the level of dificulty that is deemed fair to all but decay should end when the event does seems prety simple to me it is not fair to anyone to have hard earned rewards taken away while we can't do anything about it
