They made a mistake and would take to much time to rectify it , something was given so they can close case.
Its a lost cause now - we all know the support team are useless should we have expected better ?

Recently there have been some concerns as to which item was distributed after the Battle for Berimond ‘extension’ issue we experienced a couple of weeks ago. We’ve been investigating the issue, and from what we can tell, it seems that the majority of players were presented with the Armor as the reward (before the extension) and some were presented with the Helmet (again, before the extension).
We’re aware that some of you will not have received the item you were after, but in this case there is unfortunately nothing that can be done. Since the event did not end properly, we do not have a set list of who should rightfully have received which piece of equipment and therefore cannot properly credit the appropriate reward to the right players.
This is something that we will definitely try to prevent in the future, and will do our best to ensure that these sorts of situations don’t present themselves with other events. In this case however, the armor that was distributed will remain as the reward for the affected players.All the best,

So our investment(real money) in the event for a specific reward doesn't concern anybody..fair enough

That is the WORST excuse i have ever heard, you know the rewards everyone was due. you fucked up and paid the wrong ones out, god knows why, and rather than rectify the mistake by payoing out the proper reward you compound the error by saying there is nothing you can do about it. Which we all know means there is nothing we are prepared to do about it. or in other words means we dont give a toss yes we said you could have an apple yes you paid us for it but the apples are in the back and we cant be arsed to get them now its way too much hassle, you can either take the orange or do one either way i dont care, its my clocking off time and i need a swim.
If i go into a shop and buy an apple and the guy gives me an orange, i would want my money back, why would this be any different? and you can hide behind the fact this is a free game all you want but do you honestly believe that would stand up in court? seriously? i think you would have a very very hard time convincing a judge that items have no monetary value, when on every offer you put up it has a direct monetary value shown, and that clearly items have a ruby value which in turn have a monetary value. if you think any judge in the land is going to believe a gam in which players spend thousands of pounds to buy items has no monetary value you are deluded!!!

Very shaky ground mate, just ask my brother who is a criminal lawyer and the freedom of speech act allows people to post what has been sent by email, your own rules only state Abusive ? so why the removal of a mail from support to a player?

Steve don´t hide evidences about your scam..... In the message that I received from support the guy call us indirectly idiots....
The support guy still saying that we don´t know the difference between a helmet and armor equipment...... and when happen the issue in berimond event the prize for lvl70 it was armor and after the timer changed it was a helmet..... and he also told me that nobody it's claiming......we are all very happy with the armor....lol
I only know a word for define this guys and it's "SCAMMERS"..................................

Same response here from support,they said armour was original reward:))(do we really look like idiots?),and after time extension it was helmet,this is the cheap excuse for them to no work extra and give back our rightfull item.....
How can i prove what my eyes have seen as reward during event....anyway seems nothing will change regarding rewards.

Very disappointed with this. After wrong reward was given during Halloween event everyone effected was given correct equip as well as keeping hero.
You say some people in top 50 got armour but I have not seen 1 person state that. Top 50 got helmet, 50-120 incorrectly got armour. Just give all top 120 the peice they didn't get yet. Like you did in Halloween event.
