Carnifex (GB1) said:I'm just saying zip, with all the attacks they are having from BSK, they may not of noticed it was UK.
I don't know though, just a theory.
We are getting more hits from UKn than we are from bsk.....
http://prntscr.com/b2ks2e that's now all from UKn....plus the 25 that all ready landed most on burning castles

Still getting notifications,
Just stop tool knocking or stop coming on this thread talking about the of said tool knocking consequences.
Also if someone break fair play rules to gain an advantage ... is that being unsporting ?

This will be my final post on this matter.
I'm disappointed in this server, this community.
I need not tell you what you did or why you did it and pretend not to because the fact of the matter is everybody here knows what happened and what they did about it.
Its just so disheartening that this... This is the community that controls the game.

Morning guys,
Yup, I deleted that thread, apologies for not telling you in advance. I intended to close the thread earlier, but it didn't seem to work.
This is a forum to discuss the game, and any lighthearted banter or discussion of wars and so on is more than welcomed. Accusing one another of 'cheating' and throwing flames back and forth is not acceptable however, and it's not the kind of environment we want to foster here. We're all players of the same game, there's no need to throw out accusations or get personal with one another.
If you have an issue, you can always contact me directly.
Regards,
Steve.

Steve, do you really think this kind of conversation isnt going to happen ever single time this event is on? why well you know why, whether any side is cheating or not, if someone is doing really well someone else will be pointing the finger that they are cheating, the way the event is right now its always going to be that way no matter who wins whether its legit or not. And you know. Also when you start deleting constructive posts about possible ways to improve this situation, what do you expect. Deleting the thread doesnt make the situation go away you know. And I have contacted you personally in the past and i note zero has been done about any of those concerns not even the courtesy of a reply.
Although I expect this is exactly the kind of environment GGE are trying to create lets face it war generates them a lot more cash than peace does. You cant really expect to create this atmosphere in game deliberatly (or at least do nothing to rectify it) and not expect it to bubble over into the forums. As per everything in this game the ball is in your court to adress, but of course all we get is radio silence.

@Philt123 (GB1) Apologies that you feel that way, but I can assure you that if there is anything being done about specific issues that you've brought up, I'll let you know. As I said, War is one of the key aspects of the game, and I actually appreciate how heated and passionate you guys get about it.
That being said though, just because it's a war game, doesn't mean that you can verbally abuse/accuse other players of cheating. Fair enough, discuss the game or trash talk, but do remember that it is a game, and try not to go too far.
I'm aware of the constructive points that you brought up in the thread, don't worry. It was a mistake on my end to not contact you about the deletion (and not closing it properly in the first place), which I apologise for. Won't happen again
If I missed a PM from you, do feel free to poke me again. I'm very busy lately, so sometimes things just slip through. I'm always happy to talk about things though, just give me a shout!
Regards,
Steve.

Arcaine if its something relevant to whats going on in the game which it very much is it has a place on the forums where anybody involved can discuss it with ease...

@Some guy5 (GB1) There's a difference between relevancy to the game and accusations. Slandering other players isn't really what we're after here. If something is going on that you think might be shady, you can discuss it or inform me about it, but accusing (or implying) others of cheating isn't cool.

Steve.

Regardless of the accusations being posted here it was happening and a lot of bad stuff happened because of it if you remove it from the forums you take away the platform used to defend ourselves and let the rest of the server see whats going on.
Its relevant to the game steve this is a place to talk about the game.

By removing the other thread due to accusations of 'cheating' which is a harsh word meaning unsporting and unfair game play. you have indirectly proved GoodGame Studios are aware of the problems that arise when 'Alliance Tournement' is around.
UNLESS you come up with a decent way to maximise the prevention of what can happen which has been pointed out numerous times this will continue.
So why not tackle this matter from the source would save you the time of closing/deleting a thread.

In my post, I was very deleberate in my wording, the truth is ANY alliance in the game that does really well in this event will have fingers pointed at them, which is a really sad state of affairs, if ANY alliance puts in a stella performance it deserves a pat on the back, rather than finger pointing and people saying they must have cheated.
The way the event is right now there are simply so many ways to manipulate the outcome. If it clever play or cheating depends on your own personal views, however I think its clear that an agreement was formed between the top 20 alliances so quickly on UK1 that almost universally they agreed certain things amounted to cheating and agreed to not do that in the future. I guess all i would like to see is some sort of transparancy so everyone can see and know what others are doing. without the need for people having to justify their actions and the offense it causes when people are accused of something. Its never fun to have be accused of something you havent done. But no doubt unless something changes it will happen to any alliance that is either doing well in the event, or particularly those that significantly increase their output from their normal level. Which is a real shame if they got there through sheer hard work.

@Philt123 (GB1) That's exactly what I'm referring to. We should be nurturing and applauding one another for our achievements, not pointing fingers and throwing around accusations.
I understand that there's an issue with the event right now, and it's a topic within the team. Thanks a bunch for all your comments in here though, and to @UltraFlavoured (GB1) and @Some guy5 (GB1) too. I realise that the way the event runs allows for some sort of exploitation, and I completely agree that it'd be better for the game itself, and the atmosphere for something to change in this respect. I'll talk to the team again and see what the current situation of the issue is, and get back to you as soon as I can.
Thanks a bunch again, your passion and love of the game is what keeps the community driving forward. As you said yourself, great performances deserve a pat on the back, something that we're hoping to achieve around these forums

Steve.

On a side note, why not run the individual glory tournament alongside the alliance one. That way alliances can see what players contribute the most in their alliance as well as offering greater motivation for individuals who are not in the strongest alliances to get big glory.

thats a great idea, and would kinda kill 2 birds with 1 stone. or go a long way to giving much greater transparancy.

lol you can laugh, proof was posted,
if this continues, then it will spill over, and over, it seems that these events are creating there own monster, war is war yes, but the reason for it, to stop somebody winning how petty, yes have a planned mass attack from 1 alliance (with normal rules of engagement), ok, you deal with it,and from what I have seen, it get resolved, but at least there is recovery time.
long term wise I really cannot see this being good for the game, people get fed up, and leave, and if you are a part time in the game, what have you got.
Thank You for the last 2 comments Philt123 (took me little time to write this make it 3 and the transparency idea by Fortis) (edited)
Steve you the team created the beast, possibly time to come up with a really good plan, the beast will not go away

Think this is a great idea but unsure how it would fix the issue of all the cheat shouts.....as all u will see is who is getting the glory not how and were.
Sorry to say there has to be a level of trust and that's never going to happen in this game or any other game.
Must admit its the most fun ive had in this game for a while, just a shame that our achievement wasn't liked by some of the server......But lets hope that our efforts spur another alliance on to have a go next time

All said and done There has only been evidence provided from one side with glory hits and 2v1 alliance war hits posted and no proof to the Cheating thats being branded about?
Unlike the mails from UK players staging cheatingposted on the forum during the last scandal and how Ironic they are joining in the war so unlike them lmao.
Would like to express my grattitude to BSK and UK for showing the whole server what we already know ! in fantastic fashion.
From the sidelines as i see it you have done a far better job than any anti BSK-UK player/alliance to promote your total lack of regard for the server and any individual player trying to play the game with respect , With your stance on multi alliance v 1 wars you have maybe another few Twaitsy's at your doorstep or players quitting well done!.

Its already been mentioned the word 'cheat' is a strong word for playing unfairly.
Depending on how you see actions you can call it different things.
The UK thing was a bit to much for myself and I stated that to many- Not knowing whats going on but I ALWAYS have an opinion on everything .. I will question everything to try and keep it as fair as possible.
Only the alliances involved can speak for the actions ... but not all players involved should be labelled in the same bracket.
I was the first to speak up about UK and the first to send a message of concern to a member of the alliances in question the second time around.
Its the blinded glasses of classing one alliance as all the same that leads to these things in the first place.
I was also quick to congratulate the winners. As i had/have a few friends their.
Hopefully GoodGame Studios can implement something to all thats been mentioned. Should be to hard they do it for FIs

For one thing ggs have access to the entire games history when suspicious activities arise if there was a way to report a player/alliance which is then investigated and if found to be doing unethical things, cheating, then the accounts responsible could face suspension/ban.
These guys literally have access to the entire story and can find out if somebody is cheating or not which ruins the game.
We need a way to report this steve maybe it could be something simple like a new section of forums where its reported to the cm's who then relay something big like these events relayed to ggs who then investigate (take action if guilty) and release a statement as to their findings and response.
Save your game ggs. Don't leave it up to the players to enforce rules you want implemented.
