Another major cockup by GGE ..... with the spring comp coming to an end they decide to fuck up fls so people spend money on rubies to finish comp .

Prefer one update bug free to multiple with loads of bugs, you guys cant win, something we used to complain about was constant updates with bugs. Seems like GGE have listened and now getting flamed for listening to the feedback

I think they should let us know whats going on i.e why the fi has not started
I am really annoyed as I have bonus thing giving double points on spring thing and have wasted 3 hrs of it as there is no foreigns to attack.

same boat regarding the booster but if you havent secured top100 by now your wasting your time. Its already listed and Steve has posted in another thread sayign it will be happenign soon....

It's tough. They're stuck between a rock and a hard place on this one. We all moaned about that the Foreign Invasion prize brackets were impractical and so this requires a change, hence the delay.
That said, I am surprised it requires this length of time. Surely the event criteria could be easily stored in configuration files? I don't understand why the events should take this long to "hotfix". You're only changing a prize bracket after all.
I think in these instances where it affects a long term nobility contest (such as the spring event), a gift box containing a double points booster for the length of time lost due to getting the update right could be considered.

No Fl's I was expecting them this morning! I spent last night getting prepared for them, strengthening my defence and making sure, there was more than enough troops for supporting my team mates. Ush what a anti-climax. Oh well there be here eventually I suppose but it was slightly disappointing
