Banter!

I actually like these events. They're a lot more rewarding than their cost. I started off a FI event with about 50 demon horrors and 50 deathly horrors and after the event I got almost 200 of each of them, plus a ton of forest hunters and forest rangers. Personally I support these events that GGE is coming up with, as it makes the game a lot more fun to play with. Attack/Defense gets old real fast, and if you're one of those people who just want to play Attack/Defense, you still can. The events don't FORCE you to participate, so there's no harm being done to you. If this is the case, I don't really see the point of this entire thread. There are people like me who like these events, and if you don't like them don't participate in them. Why complain about there being "too many events that you can't take a rest"?

The constant events make it easier for non-ruby players to keep up with the ruby ones. The constant flow of events means non-ruby players have the ability to get lots of ruby troops and good casts and commanders. Although I agree that there should be less events, overall I think they are a good thing to have.
Not at all. It just means I have 18 unique commanders and can wipe out whole alliances by myself for less money.

What you see as giving rubies to non-ruby players I see as giving rubies to ruby players. I spend significantly less on this game this year than I did last year. Sure, some of that is attributed to not needing to upgrade my bakery, again, but even when starting a new server. I can do more for less than when I first started.

So, no. It doesn't make it easier for non-ruby players to keep up with ruby players. It just makes it easier for all players to get things that used to cost money. I never have to buy troops now. I spend less on tools. I spend less all around. My money goes farther now too. With things like lucky coins and the multiple events running at the same time.

I can get 2k points in a day in one of these events. More even, and it will only cost me 30 dollars and membership to the greatest alliances. That was never a possibility before. Now I have unlimited, well, everything. They've made it so easy for me that I am not even interested in trying anymore. I can just smash for one day and get everything that a non-ruby buyer has to work all month for, and some. If anything this has widened the gap.
