The Blood Crows book by Simon Scarrow deals with the attempts of the Roman Empire under Claudius to extend its boundaries in Britain and destroy the resistance led by the the Ordovices and the Silures under Caratacus. "Rather than confront his enemy in set-piece battles, Caratacus adopted the time-honoured expedient of ‘guerrilla’ warfare against a more powerful opponent, striking at isolated forts and columns and melting away before the concentrated strength of the legions." The series of books follow the career of two legionnaires Macro and Cato as they travel across the Roman Empire and they do have dealings with the Praetorian Guard at one point.
So if they based the concept on the book then we would be looking at an invading army seeking to suppress us or alternatively we could be looking at guerilla attacks from weaker forces at points where we are weaker. Take your pick. Sounds interesting though.

The castles of blood crows will appear on the world map, and can be attacked by you.
The blood crows behave like strangers lords. Their defense may change depending on the setting.

The blood crows invade only the great empire, so you can also attack only from your main castle or outpost.
You can honor points in attack and in defense fight.

For this alliance competition include Honor points from the attack and the defense.
If you already find yourself in an alliance or are recently joined while the event is running, the counter displays the collected fame scores from all alliance members.
There will be a ranking of the participating alliances in Event window.
You collect your points for the alliance to which you belong. Are you leaving the alliance, then your points still remain in this alliance.
This also means that you can obtain the Allianz rewards only once per round. The points are not carried along with a change in another Alliance during the event and it also gets not even the same rewards for doing so.
Rewards can be units or a decoration for all Alliance members, coins and rubies for the alliance treasury.

In the war of empires, there is now also to snag Kingdom commodities for your alliance.
The "old" stranger Event Set is now to get on the activity rewards in both events (Bed and blood crows).
Some rewards the Tourist Event have also been adjusted slightly.

It is just what GGS want, that all their paying customers have no longer time to work and generate income because of the game. So no money to buy rubies and less income for GGS.
