Hi all!
Over the past couple of years, we have seen an increase in the number of attacks from lone-wolf attackers on the UK1 server. These come in the form of players who have either:
a, Lost all interest in the game and just go spiralling out of control or
b, There are players who have been banned for diverse reasons i.e. reverse transactions on their old accounts.
They will come in many guises, as mentioned above:
a, They will go all out in attack and don't care for the consequences, because of the quality of attack, it makes players too scared to retaliate.
b, They will create a new account based on existing players names, more often than not, using a special character at the end.
c, They will try and obtain a high level account by bribing that player with an offer of rubies. Most players are intellingent enough to know how security works and as long as they don't give their password away, they are ok. However, there is a minoirty who, unfortunately do give their passwords away without realising, thinking they are going to get rubies added to their account. In the enc, the player has effectively lost their account forever. Once this happens, nothing can be done, because the one with the rubies will change the name and the one who lost the account will be too embarrassed to admit to password sharing.
I have evidence of someone who wanted to give me rubies in exchange, and many others I have conversed with, have had the same experience.I can provide the images of PMs and even a whole chat page with regards to a certain player who wanted to do this. I have been attacked many times by this player this week for nothing more than honour farming. I have no qualms to say that he admitted that he was King Vlad of the old Crimson Guard alliance.
So, everyone, please be aware of certain players. If they join at a low level, do not promote them unless you are absoliutely sure of their background. If they show signs of using certain empire phrases and technical jargon, then he/she is a returning player. Then, and only then can this game get back to normal.

Yes I believe that this is wrong and Matthew Maddok from HAFAN HOYW should be suspended. Poseidon if you are viewing this post, I expect you to suspend this player right away. He has not only just caused mischief in the server but he has also contributed to the fraud of rubies.
Have you got any other proof that you can display also?
