I walked down the stair leisurely before being assaulted almost immediately by the sound of weapons, shouting and trivial things such as the shower of bullets and other such ammunition.

It is all I can do except retreating back up the flight of stairs, but not before taking several bullets to the right leg.

Instinctively, words being to escape my mouth before I have the sense to keep quite. "I'm hit! Man down!"

I carefully crawl back towards Sher's room, careful not to damage my leg any further. A painful task a pain was send straight into my brain every single centimetre I move.

I knock and call. "Sher, open up."

*channels all their power to bore down to the world's core*

*all of us are vaporized in a massive explosion of magma and molten iron; the pub is completely destroyed*

Of course they are!  But death being their kingdom, they are perfectly effective there, thus being more than capable of what I have said; in fact, just as capable as whatever power is permitting you to pick up suddenly-materialized nukes and to rise from the dead (which last power just might BE them...).  Besides, I didn't target YOU specifically, I targeted the whole pub.
