Thanks, now I understand. To me, that was a MISC thing, I didn't know MU had it on their description. To my knowledge nobody has denied it. Not even me. I don't even know of anyone besides me who commented on it (other than MISC / MU / etc.).

So if you're referring to me, what I've done is asked isn't it possible that Serry was just buttering up Morentz as they try to get what they want? Seeing how these guys have worked in the past, it certainly could be within the realm of possibility. What do I personally believe? I lean 40% that he lied to Morentz in that PM, 60% that the was truthful to Morentz in that PM. (Which, for the folks in MISC not good with math, means I lean toward what you think). But by no means do I think it's absolute. Try to keep an open mind with the following:

1) Morentz acknowledged to some people that everyone knew of the scheming & plans to undo KoN (though he claimed MISC wasn't involved). But later on he and others have said the whole notion was a bunch of baloney. So which is true, Morentz's original position, or what was being said later?
2) MISC goes to great pains to call Serry a liar and untrustworthy. So which is true, Serry's original position, or what he said later?

Basically, how can any independent thinker who knows the history of these two and their interactions be 100% adamant one way of the other and consider themselves a critical thinker? Aren't both of these guys smooth talkers?

So no, haven't denied anything, nor would I. I also haven't defended it or spoken out against it. I'm only pointing out what some in MISC's camp doesn't want to hear, basically that the message to Morentz could also have been the BS. Do I think so? Like I said earlier, I lean a bit against thinking that, but it's still a reasonable possibility. But it's too good a tool for MISC / MU to use to ever be anything but "100% certain in their belief" lol.

Lying is not a trait I value, but this whole story of Serry and Morentz is not really something that interests or involves me or GK. It's between Serry, Morentz, MISC and the KoN alliances. If you think it does involve us, then that means you agree with MISC / MU that it was our reason for entering the war (along with their "property was promised" spiel), and that's fine I don't mind you guys having your own opinions.

Cormyria if you're going to flag someone's post that you don't like as spam, at least have the decency to do it at a time other than right when you post. It's less noticeable that way (and doesn't immediately expose you as a hypocrite). My second request is this: even if you disagree with my viewpoints, please don't lump me into your anti-KoN agenda (if you can). Treat my posts on their own merit.

Your rose-colored glasses left something out:
LightSwayer asked me a question, when I forgot about it he asked me again. So I answered it, with honest answers as they pertain to me. You don't have to agree with me, but why on Earth would anyone have a problem with that?

1) Question to me was: Why deny? Answer: we never did. (no spin)
2) Elaboration for him: Why I have the viewpoint and questions I do. (no spin, it's my perpsective)
3) Reasons for KoN or MISC were not given. (therefore no spin)
4) Opinions on them as alliances were not given. (therefore no spin)

My advice would be to check your agenda a bit and take the time to pay more attention to what's going on in a thread, not just who's on one side or the other. There are those of us on both sides who, whether you agree or disagree with us, are pretty genuine. Take some time to figure those people out.

I do hope you following me around isn't going to become a habit again.

ok manatee I wasn't trying to creep you out ... and you did help us with our battle reports on several occasions so I will let you return to pontificating undisturbed as long as I don't see any posts I feel the need to comment on I will try to "avoid" you on forum as much as I possibly can ... people will flag what they want to flag so you will need to accept that as a risk when posting on this forum or this thread it seems remember the audience is listening .... you are welcome ....

I'm not worried about flags, lol, people can have at it. I post for the ideas, not for some sidebar achievements. You can post and comment all you want, I've always said so. But be prepared for people to respond directly to what you posted. And when that happens, even if you don't like what they say, don't let it devolve into spam flagging, or weird accusations, 100 pony pics, or things not related to the thread. If you don't respect me, at least respect the other readers.

As for bringing this back to the topic of the thread, I don't see that KoN is going anywhere. I also don't see them gobbling up other alliances even though they have time to do the war and be tops in just about every event. Maybe it's time people reevaluate things and consider that maybe, just maybe, the bad blood between KoN and MISC really was that bad... and that it's not some kind of server dominance thing like others keep trying to say.

Which would mean, a lot of people want to knock them down because they're on top, or because of bad interactions they've had with KoN. Not because of some threat to independent alliances. Even if you don't agree, at least consider it in light of everything you've seen.
