What do I need to start my own alliance, plz, ie, rubies (how many?), coins, etc?

First leave your alliance I you are in one
Then you will see an icon on the left hand of the screen pop up asking if you want to join or create an alliance. Click "Create an alliance"
After that just donate the needed resources rubies and coins, and put a name, description, etc.
Wala! You have your own alliance!

if you are just a beginner i wouldnt suggest starting an alliance- i'd learn the game from someone before doing so or your alliance will get crushed by not knowing any defense/attack strategies
