I am fairly new to GGE. I only started to play in March of this year.
When I first joined the game, I joined Goonswarm. This was run by CorbinWebb. He quickly noticed my HIGH activity level and that I was a huge ruby buyer and promoted me to be his deputy. I later learned that he also held an account in The Survivors (dochosskat) and invited me over to join them because Goons could no longer support my growth. (I had gone from level 1-35 in 6 weeks). I joined TS at the beginning of May, right after the conclusion of the April SI event. While here I began to ask alot of questions because I was so new to the game. I then started being called needy and demanding and even controlling and manipulating. All I ever wanted to do was learn the game in its entirety. Well as time went on, as I tried to ignore these remarks from certain players like Brads12, Oncor1, Sev, SlashingBlades and a few others, I started seeking out other alliances to join because no new player should ever have to deal with this kind of harassment. I was in touch with VSK and was just about to join them, but then Meezer suddenly stopped messaging me that evening. The next morning, I logged in and shortly after I logged in, I was booted out of TS by Brads12 after he posted "I can see the manipulator is still here" - I ended up going to BattleHorn for the day while things got worked thru. I later learned that it was because of a "warning mail" from KoN main that caused me not to be able to join VSK and that it was Brads12 who booted me and took it upon himself to do from a general level. He was demoted for it by WilliamTravis and this upset many people in the alliance except for those that didn't like me for whatever reason. I ended up being invited back to TS later that friday evening. Next morning, Brads12 left the alliance on his own.
Upon returning to TS, I was watching chat one day and seen SlashingBlades speaking to another member about her deco that she got from the first realms contest and where she had put it in her castle. Knowing it wasn't TS and that it was KoN that won the deco, I began to look at each castle, and quickly realized it was LMP who SlashingBlades was speaking of. Turned out that SB and LMP are the same person, confirmed by several in TS. Also had found out that there are "SEVERAL" members of TS that hold account in KoN Main.
Anyways, I kept playing my game to the best of my abilities while in TS. I was then mailed by GoN to help them collect & hold some RVs for them. I asked my leader about it as I was still trying to find my roots within the game and his reply was simple "can't hurt to have friends in high places", so I accepted their offer. I kept playing my game in TS but began to start getting mails of threats from KoN Main members wanting to mass me and attack me. So I jumped over to join GoN. While I went willingly, I felt as if I didn't have a choice but to join a KoN sub for protection. Since going to GoN, I have been trying to find a safe haven else where because I was FAR from ready to be in a war let alone a server war. I ended up going under the bird while I tried to sort out things, but in turn found it difficult because I got more mails from KoN main members asking when I was going to return to TS because they couldn't attack me while I was in a nephling alliance. I also got mails from Oncor1 (while she was in TS) stating that "noone in TS missed me - and then a second one with "that's ok (first/last name) you don't have to respond"... 3 hrs later I received a knock on my door from child services... "caller stated SHE was on online gaming friend and was concerned with the well being of the children and the condition of the home due to moms heavy activity in an online game" was the complaint...
With this all being said, I'm done with the game as of right now... Celuna, will no longer exist...
I will be back at some point, under a new nick but not sure who to trust and who not to trust at this point... feel free to message me here on the forums if your seeking a good active ruby player...
But KoN need not apply - as they did me dirty... (GoN folk - your good peoples, will miss yinz all but can't and won't play under the attachment of KoN)... sorry all...

That is horrible! You should join our alliance when you come back. We are Dwarfs Hideout and our players are SOOO supportive and fun. I just joined 5 weeks ago and went from level 1 to 32 in that time. I have had to ask hundreds of questions and everyone has always "chimed" in when I needed help. I got so much help, I never even had to read the actual games rules. EVERYONE has each others back big time! I am so sorry you had that kind of experience, that is NOT what this game is all about. I have had a blast and made some wonderful friends in my alliance. You should give us a try. Wishing you the best of luck! Michele636

Thank you for your interest, but I have found an alliance that is suitable to my needs and I ain't giving up just yet... Over the past few days, I've found that there is some good folk in the game, and these are the people that were there for me when I needed someone the most. I am not quitting and will "let my haters become my motivators"...

I am glad you found a suitable alliance. Sadly a lot of people are unfriendly to those who are only interested in learning about the game

Since I posted this, I joined TBD as I had stated... I enjoyed my time there til Brads12 got in the ear of another member of TBD ... This member suddenly started talking JUST like brads12 did to me while I was in TS. I had enough, blew up in chat at the officers online at the time because they just wanted to sweep it under the rug like nothing ever happened and that upset me very much. I ended up getting the boot from TBD for that. I ended up going to TBD reddawn for a lil bit after that but was rushed into leaving them too.
Once I had to leave TBD RD - I learned that I was being FALSLY accused by members of TUF and KoN that I was dochosskats multi -- this couldn't be further from the truth... Just because my castle is directly next to his doesn't mean nothing... I moved my castle when I was in my beginner alliance of goonswarm -- he told me it was easier for him to support me... so I did...
The accusations and bullying I have endured has been ruthless. I don't even know at this point IF I want to come back because I know if I do, I'll never be able to have any of the friends I did have, because I will never be able to disclose who I truly am... damn shame there's folks out there like that... and to wrongfully judge before you know ones story, is just wrong... couldn't be more wrong to be honest...
Til the day I quit, all I ever wanted was to be helpful, learn the game and enjoy the game and succeed at the game... that's it... nice of the gge community to crush a new players enjoyment -- well done!

Not all of us are like that, I give second chances to our new alliance members. I think it unfair to chase people from alliance to alliance out of spite or whatever other reason.. I understand a warning message but anything past that is too far IMO.
Hope you don't quit over something stupid, if you haven't spent money I would say make a new account under a new name and join another alliance. If you have spent money, well.. I guess I'd try to find an alliance with a leader that will stand behind you

I have killed off my account... destroyed resource buildings, gave away all assests and sold all equipment. I don't think I'll be back because it will NEVER be the same... nor would I want to hide under a different name... not many can say they leveled to lvl 70 in 5 months, had a top 2 nomad run (25K tabs @ lvl 65), 10.5M loot run that week, a 90/90 com by lvl 70... and alot of other things, but oh well, things happened... it is what it is... and a legacy has been left behind because big names will always remember Celuna... and that was created in just 5 months... so to attract that sort of attention, that should say something in itself...

Agree with VVV King Luc9986..You need a place to want to sign on to play not from stress but for the Fun and Fellowship of the game..At the end of the day just remember fires in the game are just that ..stay active and you will not be in ruins..game fires can always be put out.. .. They want your Rubies and if can't have them would rather you don't play than to have you with another Alliance were you can enjoy the game..They will move on to the next after a week or so...Found best to not play into the email/text from them just use old stand by "so do you like Ice Cream ?" Will drive TUF nuts just saying

As a side note, we had a child (10) that was bullying a young member of ours. We do not accept new members but when our young member's former leader mailed us begging us to help him we made an exception. It took us nearly 2 months to get GGS to act but they did finally close the accounts (over 20) for bullying. Two weeks later, the same kid was back with more accounts. They just notified us yesterday they had shut down 42 accounts. Count em. 42!! Unfortunately, it took threats of getting law enforcements cyber crime divisions involved before action was taken but you can get action. If you truly feel they are bullying you don't be afraid to do something about it.

It's reasonable to say KoN isn't bad in retrospect (if they could go back to the way they were before HIVE wars).
We have all been to 'hit one hit all' BS (It's not just neph) but with the sheer power of main it makes people spend more time finding a suitable target rather than attacking.
With a logical leader (maybe Segel or Heart) I don't have a problem at all.
