And what 'well established game rules? You might want to look them up, and decide which are game rules, and which are just things some players made up.

You're not going to get much sympathy from support for this Lord Bright, though they might offer you a few suggestions about how to endure this. It's a war & empire building game, so might makes right is very much in play.

It's up to you, the player, to decide if A) this is the type of game you want to play and B ) how you will navigate the environment.
