it was a solid war....no idea the final numbers, nor do I care. with few exceptions, both sides were respectful, both sides kept it clean, both sides played the game the way it was meant to be played. it had nothing to do with eventing and it was hella fun.

Ailbts is probably 1 for 2 on his points above.
1. Personally I believe Orel was busy with RL, I remember him telling me that prior to going under the bird. I don't know if I'm right for believing him, but I usually give the benefit of the doubt unless ulterior motives are in play (which I don't see here).
2. GK had zero preparations, so I'm not sure where his 2 week comment comes from. We had just dropped that week from 65 to 56 members and were working on a restructure.
Yes FU wanted a planned war. GK said maybe in the future, but not now, we were restructuring.
So we started restructuring. Dropped to 56 members, then the events unfolded leading to FU declaring on us.
But now, based on Ailbts' comment above, it appears FU was actually preparing for this war. I see...
That is very unfortunate to hear. No Ailbts, we had no part in planning for anything other than our downsize when the events unfolded.
Your comment about us getting beat up is interesting, care to elaborate?

I have all the reports, but sorting out the duplicates and adding up the ones from the last day of battle is going to take 5ever.
