Hey Deadly, I'm pretty good about disagreeing with that stuff whether it affects me or not, and I know I'm not alone in that. I've also spoken against password sharing, multi-accounts, and other shenanigans even when it could adversely affect people in GK family.
Here, people are defending glory boosting, I look at it and say it's lame to do in an effort for alliance rankings. And if the alliances were reversed, I'm pretty sure the positions on it would not change. I know mine wouldn't.
Correlation does not equal causation.
It's not a matter of ethics though. It's more a dynamic political landscape on the server where decisions have social consequences. (In this case, a short war, and a bit of public ridicule). It's not any more complex than that. An alliance resorted to padding their efforts with set up castles in order to compete in an event against alliances who don't. Are they allowed to? Of course. Am I allowed to ridicule them for boasting about it? You bet.

Before you run your mouth get your facts straight. We declared on BC cause VKT was sniping offense with 4 min horns in our outers for no reason, and spending an awful long time hitting DT2. Boosting bullshit was not the reason for this at all.Carnifexx (US1) said:

Yah he tops the US server as the biggest piece of garbage. Does nothing but run his multis and try to start trouble. He caused his alliance mates a loss of 220k or so troops, mostly offense for ther events. What a loser and they let him back in after that. Just LOL.

I'm in no position, but Peeps said you were gonna declare on boosters, People learn by example. Make somebody an example that people will not follow. Who knows, maybe KoN + Misc + Gk may fight together again

He decided to hit Wolfer in EliteGuards (FU direct sub) right after he left KoN main the other night. BC and FU have a pact and he's still there so BC leadership must really cherish our pact. Bad Company is going to be No Company if they keep doing shady shit.

I can confirm that Manatee would be the absolute last person on this server to give in to the temptations of boosting. If the ToS said you couldn't make sarcastic remarks he wouldn't do so. I'm not gonna talk a big game, cause I log in about once a month but sitting in forums isn't gonna do sht for anybody that still cares about the game.
Its obvious who the boosters are, you either make some rules for next AT that boosters get declared on by some of the biggest alliances in the game, or you just stfu about it, its literally that simple.
You can snipe all the Defense you want, but your not gonna get 98% of the boosting locations, which will succeed.
And I wasn't pointing at anybody with my comments, although some have apparently taken it that way, its just my general view of what should happen if you want to stop boosting.

I'm not saying DT's efforts were in vain, but GGE should really implement a system to make boosting harder or just not count.
There's nothing much other players can do about the issue except find "boosting sites" and hit them. GGE needs to step up and make it impossible, or just more difficult to boost.
