Not that my opinion really matters here, but DT demands for peace should be to get 0 glory for the rest of the tourney. If they don't go above 16mil glory at the end of AT, then can accept peace.

You boot a member because they don't want to be attacked due to your alliance's poor strategic decisions? Feel bad for him for getting booted, but at least he is in a better home now.

You boot a member because they don't want to be attacked due to your alliance's poor strategic decisions? Feel bad for him for getting booted, but at least he is in a better home now.

If you're not gonna stand with your team through good and bad, why be a member of that team. You're being a leech if you're only with your team for when things are good. Again, not to say it's cool that people need to be hit for other's mistakes, but it happens, especially for alliance members who hold no rank.

How did he not stand with the team? He was booted, if he left by choice then I would agree he's not a team player. He just asked to stop being hit because was getting sick of it, but was still holding it out. He didn't say anything bad about BC, or anyone in the group or any of leadership's decisions.

He was complaining about being hit since he was a visitor, but at the same time remained in the alliance in hope of getting a cheat lvl 11 gem ( I think ).

True story, he hit a player in DT and then msg'ed/begged not to be hit back since he was 'visiting' LOL

Essentially, if you're not pushing other teams out of top 20 / top 5 / 1st while boosting, nobody cares. It's not the principle that you're cheating, as many of them would have you believe, it's that you're taking rewards from them.

Tanner, I agree with you most of the time. On this one however, you are way off. Those who try hard, like myself, regularly find 300-500k glory hits. I usually find a few each AT to add to FU's total. In fact, last time, no one in FU had more glory than myself for the AT except maybe Orel570, both of us busted tail to get glory and it paid off, FU won. We didn't boost.

This time, BC has boosted so early and obviously, I am not even gonna try to hit anyone. Not even so much as one hit as it's apparent we can't win. So yes, we do care. Yes, BC is stealing the win by dirty playing. Yes, that affects the quality of the competition. It's not a competition if you believe in fair play and the other guy doesn't. GGE has repeatedly come out saying that boosting is not the intent of the Tourney and even moderators have come out swinging against it, but it's hard to fix unless everyone agrees to play fairly. So I am very glad DT has declared. I have tons of friends in BC, likeably guys, but it's time they stopped playing dirty.

It's apparent to nearly everyone that BC is getting a very dirty reputation by these tactics that they use and it's going to cost them very dearly in the long run as they slowly lose allies. When a real war comes, they won't have many to back them up. I know I'm certainly less inclined.

You literally missed the whole idea of Tanner's post.

I thought it was a pretty humorous post. In his first paragraph he disagrees with Tanner's argument that people don't care unless they are being pushed out of rewards. Then in the second paragraph he contradicts himself saying " it's apparent we can't win. So yes, we do care."
