I am a level 60's Player who started playing this game to have fun and have wars with someone my own levels .I abide by the 10 level rule and have always played fair .
I usually don't have many beefs with people but have no understanding of how a level 70's legendary with 5-6 waves of attack can come in take all you have, kill all your troops and take all your food.... All in the name of war ...

Try opening your gates to prevent fire damage and troop deaths, at the cost of the enemy looting everything you have. (Secure storage effects are useless if you open gates)

Hmm... 5th and 6th waves are only available through the Hall of Legends. All of the Hall of Legends upgrades only apply to other level 70 legendary players.

Was Talking in general Not in all cases I have seen a lot of farming and attack reports from other players
Just don't get the concept of hitting other players outposts to farm for food. If you have to farm that usually means you have too many troops to feed on your own

They are at war with DT? I had no idea. Does this mean i should start farming and burning this guy too? Setting fires and making enemy's quit a war is both why your being farmed and why those players have so many troops that they need your food. Its to burn you out of the war... welcome to the game.

So what you are saying is .. burn people out of the game and then you will have the game all to yourselves to do what?

I don't think the game was set up for people to have a neverending war and if it is set up that way then who is left to win except GGE

Mid level players are meant to be farmed in this version of Farmville that they call an empire game.
Don't keep troops. Send all your food away to alliance members or storm. Build dwellings everywhere to rake in coin. Use reso immediately to build so that it can't be stolen. Keep just enough worthless troops to be tool wasters. Minimize your attack surface. Leave fires on worthless buildings. Some groups won't hit a burning building. Build tools and other things that can't be stolen. Maybe work on getting RVs. Wait for the alliance tournament to end, then play the game. Wait for the war to end, it might be fun again. Go into protection if you have rubies to spend. It's boring I know but so is waiting to get hit over and over again so groups can hunt low level alliances to be at the top of a leader-board. We are the farm for the ruby players.
GGE wants this war. It makes you use or buy rubies. It makes the attackers do the same. They win.

I tried that once but eventually gave up on the idea of RV's I just pretend they are like everything else in society I am allowed to look at but never own ....
