BS and cringe 12/11
(And yes, I am the "Sand" story is telling about. You can ask Raymond or Graycat himself.)
Yo, GG with the bias towards Graycat, he was mentioned as a "THE BEST leader" and me "full of greed, unright, devilish" and so on. To me, this seems like written by a multi as well.
Edit #2: let's take a closer look at the story. I cringe at the fact that it's supposed to be "based on real events"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"This is a fantasy themed story of Graycat's life in - game" Indeed it is fantasy.
"In memory of Graycat III, the Kind Hearted, The Undefeated, Leader of Fleur de Sel, and The Resilient"
Pls tell me, where can I apply to Fantasy Cringe Inc. ?
"and sometimes foolishly challenged people who were twenty times more skilled."
Let's say that "skill" is represented by level, alright? This part of story talks about times when legendary levels weren't even introduced, so the max level was 70. So if we do the math... He challenged people with level 70 while he was level 3,5? I have no comment on that one...
". Graycat met a friend in another realm who went by the name of Sand During Graycat's visits to that realm, Sand encouraged him to make his own alliance. "Graycat, you could make your own alliance," "
I do have to say, I was Graycat's friend/follower at that time... was a foolish decision... On topic though, if I remember correctly, I didn't suggest him to make that alliance, he thought about it himself.
"Graycat's fame can't be overstated. As soon as people heard about it, it only took a matter of hours for people to notice or want to join. "
lulz 1337/420 is all I can say, but seriously, this story deserves as much LOL reactions as it can get
"Unfortunately for Graycat, and rather humorously, Teacher and Sand were enemies from their realm."
Are you talking about Astraa? I don't recall me and him being enemies, but whatevs
"Sand's loyalty began to shift away from Graycat when Graycat upset the organization by using the organization's name in a threat to a band of barbarian tribes who had been planning an attack on Graycat."
Oh yeah? Well, if you are so detailed with everything, why not with this part? My loyalty wasn't shifting away. I just differentiated between what's wrong and what's right. Also you forgot some facts. Namely:
1. You didn't mention the part where he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to join that group, he sent me to speak with that alliance family's superiors. He joined the alliance family's chat only once, when he was cornered with all the facts that is. If that wasn't enough, he started to argue how "everybody wants him to leave", and then, when we were giving him clear and not biased critism, HE LEFT. He simply left the chat, without saying anything.
2. Those "barbarian tribes" were Raymond's alliance. They were a strong (almost as strong as de Sel) alliance that de Sel was in war with. How dare you name them barbarian tribes, tsk tsk.
3. Do you call talking with allies shifitng loyalty? Lol.
"When the organization ordered Graycat to step down and place Sand as the leader"
They didn't even tell him to do that, it happened some time after.
"Their leader replied"
That alliance family DOESN'T HAVE a leader. It's an alliance family in which decisions are made via meetings of alliance family's alliance leaders.
"With a sly grin the leader turned to Sand. "We wanted you to be the leader of Graycat's alliance, you're better than your leader and always follow everything we say without question. Your friend Graycat has only been using you as a servant, he's never talked to us more than two times and has no interest in our group. He only joined us because we offered protection, but he had told someone else about us. We're a private society and apparently your leader never even read our rules about not talking to people about our group. You should lead de Sel. Gray and you have only had membership in our society for a week, but we can see you have potential and strength." "
Bold - do you consider speaking your opinion and talking to the elders of the alliance family "following everything without question"?
Italic - that was indeed true. Although it seems harsh, but truth is always harsh.
" "Well... the others are skilled too, and Graycat is what unites us, but loyalty is important and I would like to be the leader of de Sel, instead of just being second in command." "
When they started throwing rather much compliments at me, my only reply was "thank you for the compliments
". I didn't say that "graycat unites us" nor "I would like to be the leader".
" *Sand's eyes turn green with greed and envy and grins evilly* " OH NO! I WALKED ON GRASS AND CALLED SOMEONE SILLY! I AM SO EVIL, I AM AS EVIL AS SATAN!
"Teacher:"Why did you get demoted Sand?" Sand:"Ask Graycat." Teacher:"Graycat, what did Sand do?" Graycat:"Sand was trying to get everyone to leave and join another alliance which Sand would lead." Sand:"Who told Graycat that?!" Secret:"I did." Oher member:"I told Graycat too." Sand:"How could you both?!" Other member:"Loyalty is the duty of very member, which you seem to have very little of, Sand." Other Member2:"Which is a traitor, one who knows of treason and doesn't tell of it or one who plotted Treason?" Other Member3:"They're both just as treasonous." Sand:"Fine then, I'm leaving. You're all so loyal to Graycat, well fine. I want to succeed and grow. I want power. I want more than what you all can give me anyway." Graycat:"No one wants you to leave Sand, but if you want to you have a right to. You were a contribution to us and you helped me fight any enemies that I had and you challenged anyone who ever said anything bad about me." Teacher:" Graycat, Sand sent me that letter too, but we're all loyal to you." Other Member:"Sand, you're a traitor and a coward." Teacher:"Sand, we all make mistakes, but why not live in peace here? This is a perfect alliance, small, but we're all very active friends and Graycat is the most caring leader in all of the realms combined." Sand:"I don't care, power is more important than all of that. I'll show you all what true success is, and I defy Graycat." Graycat:"Anyone who wants to can leave and follow Sand." Sand:"I'm leaving. Bye." Other Member3:"Think we should tar and feather Sand, or throw him in the dungeon?" Teacher:"Sand is a fool. He won't last. We can move on without him." Other Member1:"Still, It's a shame to lose one of us, a realm traveler and a skilled elemental fighter." Secret:"Never grieve the loss of a traitor." Graycat:"Teacher will take Sand's place as second in command
"
Teacher:"thanks Gray
"
Bold: That was NEVER said. I actually had a screenie of that evening's chat, but the computer the screenie was in broke on me. Also, LOLOLOLOLOLOL. At the "meeting", which btw was never called out, there was only me, Graycat and Astraa. Plus, about the first sentence, I was never demoted until the conversation went on.
"Sand founded his own alliance and desperately searched for people to follow him, but this is about Graycat, not Sand. Sand's story isn't even worth telling and the reader is not meant to sympathize with Sand at all. None the less, when Sand went back to his secret society and reported everything that happened, he asked the network leader to let him join an already existing alliance, to which his leader replied, "Sand, you failed. No one wanted to follow you." "But master, I'll join an already existing branch of our network. I will be loyal and follow all you." "Very well, since you always were loyal to us you can join one of our branches." Sand went on to repeatedly spread rumors and insults about Graycat in public, and knowing that de Sel held honor in high regard, he tried to instigate a fight. After a while, everyone had heard of Graycat and Sand. Sand and one of his henchmen argued with Graycat and his friends everywhere, at the marketplace, the city square, even in the middle of the city streets. Sand would interrupt conversations between anyone he saw talking to say how something bad they were discussing was just like Graycat, in doing so Sand became a nuisance to the public. Graycat did walk away from arguments at times, but not everyone did. Soon the entire realm was split between literally Graycat and Sand, and it quickly led to violence. Teacher and Graycat's loyalists tried to stop the entire argument, but with Sand's personal insults there was eventually a duel between Graycat and Sand plus everyone supporting Sand, all against Graycat, all at the same time. Even now, nearly everyone knows how well Graycat fought every war and Graycat's skill. To watch Graycat at times of war always put people in awe of what Graycat could accomplish. Graycat inspired all who ever watched him fight. Sand was an extremely experienced player, and the duel was in his home realm, so when Graycat came, totally unprepared, Sand had an large advantage. Whether Graycat was right or Sand was wrong is not the question, it doesn't matter. It was a personal war, and Graycat wanted to end it once and for all. Starting out fresh in a new realm against an already established player and alliance, plus fighting against Sand's supporters, Graycat made a quick end of the fight in only a matter of weeks. In the end, Sand was dropped from his home realm's alliance, Graycat took his villages, Sand abandoned his own outposts, and left every realm he had ever played on as Graycat skillfully battled Sand on 4 realms simultaneously. "
The 1st bold sentence: ... You know how you should've named this thread to reflect the realism? "BS Story Of Greyket: Cringe, Bias and Sand Humiliation Included!"
The 2nd bold sentence: 1) -__- Again, this organization doesn't have a leader.
2) --_____-- They didn't even tell me that I failed. They were very kind with me and gave me free decision: either form an alliance or join an already existing one. I created a new one but when I realised I'm not very good with recruiting I joined an already existing alliance and gained a high rank there. I only left that organisation when I wanted to take a break from the game, and they released me with the kindest wishes.
3) ----_____________---- Do you REALLY think I would be desperate enough to call someone "master" and beg to join their alliance?
3rd bold sentence: I wasn't spreading rumours. Plus, insult is not an insult if it's true.
1st italic sentence: LOLOLOL, what honor? The ingame honor? The one that you gained via looting FCs and farming inactives?
4th bold sentence: So I didn't have friends, I only had henchmen, and Graycat had friends? Why don't you create a new religion: Graycat cult?
5th bold sentence: Actually, I was a respected forumer. I had many friends till I took a long break from Empire and its forums.
2nd italic sentence: Actually, he never did, and sometimes he instigated the arguments...
6th bold sentence: Again, insult is not an insult if it's correct/real
7th bold sentence: I have to ask, are you Graycat's phoney account to make yourself look good? Idk about others, but it's not working on me in that case.
8th bold sentence: Um, there WAS no duel, he just decided to farm me out of fun.
3rd italic sentence: 1) LOLOLOLOL, bs again. When he started attacking me. he was already level 20. Totally unprepared? I think he was leveling up like few weeks before that.
2) I DID have no advantage. It's actually really funny, because my alliance members believed a stranger that was Graycat over their own, loyal, 1.5-year-long-member... I chose a wrong alliance, I guess. Also, I have to mention, I didn't have much time to fight because real life was getting in + I was already farmed by a lvl 60.
9th bold sentence: again, look at 3rd italic sentence
4th italic sentence: There were NO supporters of mine in Int1. All Graycat haters were in either US1 or GB1.
10th bold sentence: true, but he didn't end it, I just left the main server, wanted to take a break, reinforce and then hit back.
11th bold sentence: look at the 10th bold sentence
"Graycat even invited Sand back. "Sand," he said, "if you need a home you can come back." "No, and I would laugh if you really would let me come back, you defeated me and I never found what I was looking for, power and glory," Sand replied. Sand disappeared off the map shortly afterwards and was never heard from again."
1st bold sentence: HE NEVER invited me again.
1st italic sentence: true, I would laugh if he invited me back. He did when I revealed myself to him few days ago tho.
2nd bold sentence: AGAIN, HE DID NOT DEFEAT ME. Plus, I wasn't looking for power nor glory. It's just an online game, however some people take it like it's real life...
I'm just going to skip some paragraphs because it's just too much work for me, tho by reading few lines of it I can tell that it's just more Graycat bias.
"Graycat sacrificed himself for Fleur de Sel and the entire realm, for all his friends and members, and fought until the end, never surrendering. Graycat fought elegantly and with skill, throwing down anything that stood in his way.
Graycat cared about everyone. He was truly the best leader in the world. No one was more skilled than him, no one was more determined, and no one was a better friend. Looking back, if I had a choice between an alliance with 2,000 of the strongest players or any alliance led by Graycat I would chose Graycat's. He was the most sacrificing, courageous, positive, generous, and skilled leader ever.
Other realm travelers, elemental masters, and leaders have risen up before and new ones will continue to rise, but none had ever been better than Graycat, and none ever will be. "
After reading this part, I have a strange feeling in real life... It's like I feel I will jump out of myself... Well, I guess there's not much left anyways, I am so hype because I could drink some bleach after this...
To top this whole story off, let's get to the "this story was 100% true" part:
"-Graycat was a level 20, nearly alone on Int1, who took on Sand on another game world, where Sand was at level 55 and in a large alliance. Graycat farmed Sand and beat him in every realm, although it was an unfair fight from Graycat's standpoint and Sand had every advantage."
1) "nearly alone" He was in an alliance that had like 30 level 50 members.
2) "was at level 55" The farthest I ever progressed was to level 46. I never had entered Fire Peaks.
3) And once again, HE DID NOT BEAT ME!
Annnnnnnddddddddd to FINALLY OMG end this whole thing, the quotes.
" "Graycat, you never bragged about your wars or accomplishments. You were an inspiration to all of us." ~ Molson Beer
"Graycat is the kind of person who never gives up and really does care about other players, and who isn't afraid to stand up against anyone." ~Necropolis
"Graycat […] the cat who was so sweet and loving." ~ Astraa009
"Still have tons of respect for what you're doing for this alliance Graycat" ~RavenWolf
"Graycat forever" ~Coolking
"Graycat, I'll follow you to the end of the earth." ~ Someone from another game world"
[…] I no longer have the desire to play anymore." ~ Marmalade
http://prntscr.com/b55mgl ~ Necropolis
http://prntscr.com/b4y5l9 ~ RavenWolf
"This game world belongs to the people, not to Dream Legion" ~Kuivira"
1) I'm fairly sure few of these quotes were never said
2) Alrighty then, yes, as you can see from these quotes, people have a good opinion about Graycat, yeah! Now try to quote every negative comment towards Graycat. Oh wait, you CAN'T, because there's just too many of them.
I do have some questions though:
1. Why didn't you mention the Forum Cold War part where Graycat fought Raymond?
2. Why didn't you mention how many haters did Graycat get?
3. Why did you cut out the part where he fought in the Server War (there is evidence, he posted that himself)?
4. WHO ARE YOU?!?!?!!? No one, and I repeat, NO ONE can know so much about these events, and I'm just talking about the part with me. I predict that you're Graycat's multi for sure.

I hated this thread...
a while back, Kuvira got IP banned from game/forums for admitting to running multiple accounts on forums, lol
probably shouldn't laugh about something like that happening to such a loyal member, but... i didn't really like Kuvira anyway. Especially after she spammed my DL war thread with all of those fake reports.
