There is no one similar that had risen from the dead and has ascended to Heaven.jeethBOSS-1 (US1) said:Jesus christ has been proven to exist. its just not proven he is who he claimed to be(and no, the bible isnt proof. not everybody believes in the bible. but there is scientific proof that somebody similiar(or is) jesus existed sometime in the early CE.Enow (US1) said:No fable has an empty grave nor God's chosen people still denying Him Whom they admit, they have crucified.Gobygirl3 (US1) said:
The irony is that it was prophesied that God's chosen people would reject Him.
Even in the Old Testament, there is a prophesy that Jesus will return and the Israelites will know that Jesus is God.
Zechariah 12:9 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
Anyone that deny Him as ever existed, should check the internet for extra-biblical evidence of Jesus Christ as history will validate His existence; if any one cares to seek the truth in this matter.
Plus there is extra biblical historical account of the unexplained darkness at His crucifixion as reported by the secular historian Thallus as happening across the lands as in the whole world. Thallus erred by reasoning it was an eclipse, but Julius Africanus, another historian, noted Thallus's error and said an eclipse was unlikely because there was a full moon at that time when the unexplained darkness had occurred.
That means the light from the full moon was gone too.
Now the Biblical account of Jesus crying out the question as to why the Father has forsaken Him cannot be missed, but its significance has been missed by many, including believers. When our Creator, the Light of the world ( see John 1st chapter ) took our sins upon Himself, He experienced that separation from God the Father as sins separates us from God the Father. The Light of the world became "dark" as its effect was shown in His creation momentarily when the lights in the universe blinked out when Jesus took our sins upon Himself on the cross for this purpose below.
2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Now He has risen and the grace is empty as He has ascended to Heaven to provide the way for us as we have been reconciled to God thru Jesus Christ as believers receive Him as He dwells in us, so that we may be received by Him into His kingdom.
No other religion has God providing the way in saving us; other religions puts that emphasis on man to save themselves by their own merits or will power which by those works, there is no assurance of salvation given, but in the risen Christ, we do.
Old Covenant was given to God's chosen people, and it was proven that they could not do it which then leads into why man has to surrender and trust God as their Saviour, because He can do it and the cost of receiving that salvation is to believe Him.
But ... I leave that search for extra biblical evidence of the unexplained darkness at Jesus's crucifixion for you & those that seek.. to find on the internet since there are 2 kinds of seekers; one that seek excuses not to believe, and those that seek evidence and having just cause to believe in Him, and God promises the latter that they will find the truth.
