The next update is on the way and here are the features you can expect:

- There are two new stages of development for the research tower with many new possible enhancements to research. Upgrade levels 2 and 3 are available at player levels 47 and 70 respectively
- Some of the later research options can only be viewed if the new researcher event is running
- This new researcher event will appear from time to time in front of the castle and works in a similar way to the Architect
- One of the prime examples of the new research options available are the new veteran versions of the Two Handed Swordsman, Heavy Crossbowman, Halberdier and Longbowman
- These new units are the most powerful troops that can be regularly recruited in the barracks, only the Kingsguard units are stronger
- The new units do not require the researcher event, each player that reaches level 70 can unlock them with resources
- In addition to these units, you can also research militia. These will replace the armed peasants, since they're a stronger version
- There are many other research options available that improve the strength of your castle. For example, a reduction to fire damage taken or an increased visibility radius for incoming attacks

- In order to create a more exciting competition for all players, the overall ranking is now split into level ranges
- These ranges are: Levels 1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50-70
- In addition, there is a weekly reward for being in the top position of the honour rankings
- Players on top of the rankings will be gifted strong units. Players in the lower ranks will get at least a few coins
- You can always see what your current position is in the rankings and what reward you will receive for that position

- The Marauders event has been redesigned. Just like in the nobility contest, the rewards will be split into sections depending on how many points you have earned (through contributing resources).
- Marauders and Pyromaniacs are available as rewards for earning points
- In addition, there are extra strong Veteran Marauders and Veteran Pyromaniacs as rewards for the top ranked players

- The maximum level of alliances has now been increased to 50.
- This means there are now a lot of new unlockable resource and Ruby rewards for alliances

- The new Premium system can be found in the King's Market
- A player can rise from Premium level 1 to 10, gaining more bonuses as they go along
- There are various bonuses available, including resource production boosters, daily login bonus keys, recruitment slots, premium generals, 24 hour tax collection and army travel speed bonuses
- In order to raise your premium level, you have to collect premium points
- You can get premium points in events, from the daily login bonus or from purchasing it directly
- To activate the bonuses of your premium level, you need to have premium time active, which you can also earn through events or purchasing straight up
- If you don't have premium time active, you lose 5% of your premium points daily, allowing your level to regress over time
- Each time you reach a new premium level for the first time you will be given a free 24 hours of premium time to test the levels bonuses

- In the settings there is now an option to hide the movement arrows on the world map, this will improve performance and therefore make it easier to click on objects. Of course, you can still track your movements in the travel overview
- When you have completed a repair action, you will now be notified on your device
- Tools are now visible in the information dialogue, displaying an icon for the respective effect, so that you’re able to assign them more easily
- If you launched an attack on an empty resource village and someone else got it quicker, you are now able to withdraw the attack
- You will now be able to automatically scroll down to the best (highest PO) decoration in the decoration section of the Construction menu
- The background graphics in the attack planning screen have been revised and now look prettier
- When you visit an outpost and then go back to the world map, you should now always end up at the position of the outpost and not jump back to the main castle
- Ruins on the world map can now be tapped to find information on the former owner
- We have made many improvements to the games performance for weaker devices

There is obviously a lot to take in here (once again!), but we hope you like the changes. Please go ahead and let us know your thoughts in the Discussion Thread, we're ready to read your opinions.
Thanks and have fun!
