Yes they are back, and they're easier to find than the last time, allthough the time is halved as well

No it goes in there automatically, just north of your farm is a beetle, click on it and you can see how many you have collected

You don't have bees in the inventory but flies. Bees go directly to the hive and are only available during the event. They do look quite similar when collecting. Took me a while to notice difference.

I found 1 bee as well. This is my 1st time seeing these bees for my bee task as well.

I got my bees when i harvested salad/cabbage and wheat. Try that and you will find the bees

I also got all my bees. got 3 times double from harvesting wheat. the rest I got from corn and cabbage

Second time for me participating during the bee promotion.

First time, just a few weeks ago, the event seemed to run long since I finished several days prior to the end of the event. I'm a daily player, several hours a day.

This time, the event is shorter and it began when I was offline. When I woke up and harvested my fields, I found 0 bees. At this time, I have 4 bees and I fear I will not make the 10 bee total for the reward.

Not a big deal, but the inconsistency in events lead me to make a post.

i just planted 3 wheat yesterday and today i got 2 bees from it!!! I think thats quite good because they pop up at random!!

i play 2 ours on 5 fields with corn no bees seen
