I've done this oriental quest to the end..now the origami I have no idea how to find that or what or where to plant...there are no directions...thank you

JosieAnn, you get the cranes by harvesting and producing on your main farm which is basically, you get them from everything. :)

If you're not sure in future, click on the quest in the left of the screen and then hover the mouse over the ? and it'll tell you where you find what you're looking for or what you need to do.

Time to start your cherry orchards again, everyone! Asian arches! Stone dragons! Golden koi ponds! And tea houses if you survive it all!

[719885] monica79538 [None] :: Sept. 2, 2013, 12:16 a.m.
I Just started the cherries about 1/2 hour before the event started LOL. I have 2 orchards, so i will be ok. OOOh and a stone dragon has made it to the construction slot already on the flower farm :D This is one of my favorite events!

[719891] kelanniedo [None] :: Sept. 2, 2013, 2:42 a.m.
so I am plucking cherries for the event. Please tell me: if I have a full barn and sell directly from the orchard will the cherries be counted? I'm reluctant to do so and have been selling from barn and storing new harvest.
I'm wondering if this is true of all crop yields; for instance, the corn for coop and other stuff.

Can anyone answer? thanks for the help

[719892] monica79538 [None] :: Sept. 2, 2013, 2:58 a.m.
Nope--this one you have to Start the cherries, the ones in stock do not count, and neither do the ones you had growing before the event. ;(

For all tasks that specify to collect whatever (such as tasks 3 and 5 of this event), your harvest is counted even if you sell in the same action. When you do it that way you're still selling the old stock to make room for the new; it's just that it's embedded in the collection action, rather than accessed directly via the farm management menu. This is true not just for tasks but for missions and cooperative projects as well.

In general I still try to calculate the total and sell from farm management shortly before my harvest is due, though, because it's quicker to collect anything I have more than one of (e.g. five fields of cabbage, three chickens' worth of eggs) if I don't have to stop and sell each one as I go.

thax a lot man

1. collect 70 fertilizers, start 2 cherry orchards - Reward 3 Rice seeds, 50 special chicken feed (can't remember which type, long time ago - probably premium )
2. Get 360 Japanese Ink (mainly from animals) - Reward 50 XP and 6 Rice seeds
3. Collect 6,100 eggs, 3,800 cabbage, 970 Rice - Reward 90,000 dollars, 40 Fertilizers, 30 Premium Pig feed
4. Get 800 Cherry blossoms - Reward 90 XP. (Apple orchard gives 80, cherry orchards give 200 each - don't collect them until this task )
5. Supply pigsties with 46 pig feed, collect 460 pig feed - Reward 90,000 dollars, 3 Rice seeds (horrible task )
6. Get 1,000 origami cranes - Reward 180 XP. (don't collect mill, silo, composter until this task - the animals offer very rarely).
For all tasks involving drop - don't forget about the roses, if still have some from orphanage event. They offered 15 Japanese Ink / field - usually from 50% from all fields and also 15 origami cranes - same occurrence.

Hi, not sure if this is the right thread to post on, but has anyone had problems with the server for this event? My event started a few hours ago and now the server is down. Your points are helpful about what to expect for the event, but I guess I'm just worried about time, and how long it'll be down for. Any input would be great. thanks!

The server was down for me for while they did another upgrade - but it's fine now, and hopefully will be OK for the rest of the event.

Jojo, the server usually goes down every Monday when GGS installs the weekly update. The themed events take all week so you usually have enough time to finish all the tasks.

I was looking all over for this thread a couple of weeks ago so I could try plan well enough to get to the end. I couldn't find it. Where was it hiding?

I think I'm doing well enough anyway. Working on the third task now.

I added 2 search tags, I hope I picked the right ones so the thread will be found easier in the future :) Good luck with your event! The other events are also still 'hiding' on the forums, try searching on the event names, the threads should be a little more down the list of results. I will check on them later to add tags as well if necessary.

Thanks Larino. I can't remember what I tried using when I searched. I just know I didn't find it. At one point or other I had posted in two other event threads so they put themselves on my subscription list. That's quite handy :)

Try bookmarking this one thread, then: General tips for all the event. ss0209 put general tips for all three theme events into the first post in it, and the second post includes links to individual goodies for each.

FYI...

If you don't have any rose seeds the special wildflower seeds will give 10 paintings every 30 minutes. I was able to get through this task quickly using them.

so has anybody got past task 3#... I just got to 4# where I gotta get 600 cherry blossoms (only from the apple orchard) and I don't think I will make it to 5#!

[720577] Larino (INT1) [None] :: Sept. 5, 2013, 12:47 p.m.
I am on the last task now. Keep trying and harvest as often as you can to get all the blossoms. Some are lucky and some are very unlucky :(

What I did, it is not proven to work, perhaps I was just lucky, but is this: I harvested 1 orchard and immediately started running it again. Then after I harvested another and started running it again. In that way I did not group harvest them. Like I said, it may just have been luck, but I got from nearly all harvests some blossoms. Only some harvests did not drop. I do not think it would harm if you tried, but do not pin me down on it.
