A fellow coop member did level 2 of this event and says the feed pigs step has changed. You no longer have to feed a certain number of pigs. You now have to collect a certain number of pigs.

fed up with them changing stuff, all my spreadsheets will be wrong. The collect pigs benefits the higher levels, i am sure level 1 was supply 11 pig sties ( 11 x 162 pigs ... 1782 ) but now its about 2,350 which is about 4 more pig sties to "feed" . Nice excuse to make it harder... o:)

It is because we have the new speedy feeds and they count for the step both in the harvest and in the making of feed. 

That said this has always been one of my least liked steps of all the events.  I put in temporary  sty to get it done when needed.

@monica1230(US1) - the speedy feeds from the mill didn't count when I tried them. The pigs fed with the speedy feeds did count.  I have finished the event, but only did the easiest difficulty this time.

I suppose if anyone wants to update the spreadsheets etc. the stage 5 requirements at difficulty 3 are:

Collect 9,225 pigs
Collect 450 pig feed

I wasn't that far and was going off what someone else said.  They worded it wrong.  Sorry!  I was coming back to fix the post now that I am there.  I will say the super feeds help some as they give a larger harvest.

Temp pigsty was a lot more useful for feeding pigs, cos it only needed to be level 1, thats not so good for collecting pigs. :(

We gotta love <3  this game, I harvested 5 apple orchards and got zilch blossom, yeah yeah its cherry blossom, This morning I harvested my whole main farm, every harvest, my reward was just 18 origami cranes, 18 from the whole farm, as I Do not live on my farm i cannot repeatedly do the shorter time crops/produce. So I suppose when I get in later I can look forward to another +/- 18 cranes. <3<3

Sarah74, try reclicking on the task before you harvest and hover over the production to be harvested a few seconds before you click it. This gave me consistent returns.

No you are correct, they have gotten tougher because of the introduction of the Lab. Which you can use to make items to help you with the events ;-)
As your main farm gets up they will become easier to complete ;)

well at level 100 with the lab I use to breeze through the level six ones now I cant get to level 4 in time
