Don't think my lab makes anything that helps with events... maybe I need to go higher... but as farmsam says, he has a lvl 100 lab and doesn't help!

I think you may have misunderstood @farmsam (US1) there @JVD (US1) he is a 100 player level with a Lab, not with a level 100 Lab

Gotta love the fireworks!!!! had cow feed in the mill and harvested during fireworks... received 4k origami!!!! I am done with the event

Not sure why the lab is such a big help unless you are talking about someday when you can make the seaweed Data but looking at how much products are needed to make realistically how much can this be real help I maybe wrong but looking at that academy and lester tree and seeing how we got worthless additions for the prices of kings ransom thinking I am not. I am doing less and less events due to difficulty and just not intrested in what they are offering I skipped this one congrats to you JVD

You are correct there @Damaria3 (US1) once one is able to get their Lab up to the point of making super and seaweed items. Then it will help with completing the weekly events.
@JVD (US1) as a good point, for most players, the only way they are going to complete a weekly is with the help of the "fireworks" drop booster and that is if they are able to take advantage of it while it on as often as they can. Seeing it is only every other weekend for the summer, come fall we'll be back to the regular struggle to trying and get through the weekly's we decide to tackle.

in this particular event (doing lvl 6) I got lucky... had loaded the mill with cow feed as it was all I had.... popped on the game and fireworks were going and i was able to harvest, no pushing, and was shocked with the amount I got and completed the event!
I know this will not be the case when the weekend fireworks events go away, but woo hoo! I completed my mission!

My pitfall was the pigs, 23,165 pigs, (Level 6), even with 4 pigsties, it took 216 individual harvests to finally get past it, and remember there's also the hour and ten minute production time. Even tried the speed feed method for awhile, but I can't stay on 24 hours a day to make that pay off over the long haul .
I'll admit I was freaking out a bit when I finally got to the cranes, time was down to one day, and normally it takes over a day to collect them all. But the cranes were a breeze by milling wet pig feed, which when harvested during fireworks produced between 360-420 per harvest. Wrapped it up in a matter of minutes, whew, cause after those darn pigs I was sure I was in for an epic fail. Another deco collection completed, woohoo!
It may just be me, probably is, but somehow it seems that the Asian event always falls at the same time as the HW event. Both take a lot of work, and at times, you can't continue doing the things you need for the Asian event, i.e. harvesting fields, when you have them planted with spec cabbage for the next item needed for the mill. Or like the cherry blossom stage, apples and cherry orchards, and the doghouse. With cherries taking 12 hours per cycle, you obviously are depending on the apple orchards for the majority of the blossoms. The old charts show apples giving 80 and cherries 200 blossoms. That sure wasn't the case during this event. I was lucky to get 40 blossoms from one of my 6 orchards per harvest. Now let's throw in the HW running at the same time, and I have to hold off on those apple harvests because it's coming up next, or can't/shouldn't harvest any more apples till the time runs out on the mill because it will throw you into a higher speed level, thus reducing your mill time....perhaps GGS does this purposely to heighten our stress level in hopes that we'll purchase gold and just bypass the dang stage in the event, or push production in the HW. It just seems like the items dropped are becoming fewer and much more random than in the past.
In the end, I was very fortunate. Made the top 50 in HW, so I received 3 mining licenses, and finished the Asian event and got the Tea Garden with Buddha and cow shed appearance. I'd do a <happy dance, happy dance> but I'm too dang tired and stressed to even consider it.

Without the fireworks, it would have been virtually impossible to finish, without pushing with weed or gold..Once the fireworks season is over, it will be back to level 3's and 4's for a lot of people is my guess..:)

Today when I got on, I went to the Asian Event and it said there were 2 hours and a bit left, then 3 minutes later it ended on me. I had to pay 1,600 gold for something I could have easily finished in 2 hours (I only had 50 cranes left to find)

No you did not have to spend the 1600 gold you could have just left it and waited until it came around again to try and finish. That is the beauty of the weekly's you don't have to do them if you do not want to and if you should happen to fall a bit short of completing it then it will be around later to try again

A few players have told me that they are now collecting the Origami Cranes in the Asia event. It says they can be found harvesting and processing on our main farms. Two players have harvested their Eggs, 12 or 15 coops, i believe and 7 or 8 apple orchards and one harvested 4 cow sheds yet not ONE origami crane was given, they have got a few from the silo and mill, as we know they are the best payers. How can GGS say we get them from harvesting if after harvesting 12 hen coops we get nothing, some players cannot sit playing big farm for hours and hours on end. So after a days work, they log on and harvest only to get NOTHING, not a very good way to keep the players happy, now they have to wait 3 hours for apples, 6 hours for Milk.. and what chance have they got of getting the required cranes ?
One player just updated me, it took until the 27th Hen coop before they got a crane....wish the "bugs" were as hard to find as Origami Cranes

They certainly aren't dropping much at all. I collected just a few from dozens of harvests. I've never seen it this slow.

Since yesterday, I've had this quest:
As you can see, I've only got two blossoms, though I've had this quest for a little while now. The two blossoms I've had are from the dog, while the quest clearly states:
"You can get blossoms by harvesting your plantations." I'm not getting any blossoms from the fields. I've been harvesting on and off last night, and put on wheat overnight, which usually gives you a bigger bonus. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt, that maybe it meant the orchards. I'm not getting any blossoms from that either. So far, this has always worked for me. (I use Chrome, none of these events have ever malfunctioned before.)
As you can see, I've only got two blossoms, though I've had this quest for a little while now. The two blossoms I've had are from the dog, while the quest clearly states:

I know that, but this morning when I harvested the cherries and apples, I got no blossoms at all.Keldeo (IN1) said:Hey,

I'm not so sure. Maybe it's just that I left it on for too long, it just happened again. I get 80 consistently from the apple orchard, and 1 from the dog. I noticed that the cow sheds sometimes only give us ONE story book page instead of the TEN, ( in fairy tale event , and YES it was full feed not the speedy feed)) Also noticed a drop in the rate that we are getting the breeding seeds, wonder if that is anything to do with the GGS sale on special seeds ? 
For KarenKay re the asia event and hard worker at the same time, if you look at the two events they do coincide with what is required, it is obviously done to make it harder to do BOTH events together without being tempted to use gold. Certain weekly events do coincide with other certain events, again in an attempt to stop us completing an event easy.. and use gold. I can see their tactics and just do not bother doing the events for a deco that I already got. The hard worker event seems to pay out well, but cannot see GGS giving out 2-3 gold mining licenses much longer, but then look at the gold we can use to get that 1,200,000 points, 1,000 gold can go quickly
