I choose to do the easy level as I have a lot on during the day so I am unable to spend all day in front of the computer.  Some might say that is taking the easy way out. I see it as a strategy.  Each to their own. For me it would be too stressful trying to do the harder levels.  I demolish the deco anyway.  I do enjoy getting the little rewards at the end of each step.

I do as Ozzie.  Level 1 or 2 is just about right for the way I like to farm -- especially now that we're bombarded with all these events.

Wow  well guess there are a lot of people who find multi tasking overwhelming while I am actually kind of bored with it all going back to playing some of my other games hoping for something new  and more involved than just valentines day.

I hear ya.  I've had to let the CC go by completely this time.  My farms aren't advanced enough to be able to produce what I need to maximize the fireworks while producing what I need to run successful missions.  Add I'm still wanting to build up my farms, too.

This is actually a general comment about all the events.  I just harvested 10 fields and 12 chickens and numerous apple orchards and cherry orchards for what 12 orgami.  That is just a bit sad.  I know I am doing the next to the highest level but I expect more results than I am getting for my hard work and effort.  I already time at least 2 days to get the final object in all the events because you have to harvest soooo much for soooo little.  I am not even interested in tents in the apple orchards so I do the lowest level in that event.  Come on game people make the game a little more real. Hard should not equate to near impossible.  I should not have to harvest 24 pig pens for a mere 10 of whatever.

I noticed that the stats on all Themed decos have changed for all levels they now all contain Village happiness, not only level 7

wow... have harvested my 6 apples orchards THREE times (that's 6 hrs of waiting time) and NOT ONE Origami Crane....... LOL ... do they not count the apples as producing and harvesting????

The Origami Cranes DO drop from apples, however, the drop rate is EXTREMELY low.

I needed 90 cranes to finish . 9 apples.4 cherries ,full silo, 8 fields, 7 cows, 4 pigs composter + the dog netted me 87 3 short How can that be right ? Fully upgraded silo should have finished the event alone My lab coughed up the last 3 cranes. This is only level 4 lol

30 chickens nets  6 drops.... think the most I got out of those 30 chickens was 7 drops...

This is the main reason I stopped doing the deco events.  GGS lowered the drop rate making it harder to complete. However, it has been this way for awhile now.  The oragami cranes have a VERY low drop rate and drop count.  You need to have the mill full of cow feed, composter, lab with cow feed, and silo all at max, ready and waiting before that task starts.  The best crops to plant would be violets and magic beans. Don't count too much on drops from orchards or livestock. The firework boosters on the weekends really help, but that is neither here nor there when it is the beginning of the week and only a couple days left to get it done.

I am doing my final hard level.  The only way to finish it is with a bucket full of gold.  I just harvested 11 cow sheds and only 2 gave me any cranes.  That is just wrong.  It says very hard it should say impossible unless you spend a lot of gold to fill our pockets.  Come on game people, be fair to the players.  This morning I saved everything to harvest after getting my pigs and pig feed.  I got 200 cranes.  I have been playing most the day and have less than 2000 cranes. To get 11000 cranes by the end of the event I need nearly 3500 a day.
Again, be fair to the players.
