another FAIL gge
because the rewards are not that hard to get? and the rewards are good so you can survive the bugs for the rewards and hope gge fixes itNegan (US1) said:What I don't get everyone knows the event has so many glitches from the first round . We all know GGE takes months to fix an event . So why does anyone join the event again and then complain that it is broke. They never gave anyone a refund , their compensation package was a joke but players still jump in an event that they know is broken . If everyone would not join the event and make GGE do what is right from the first round maybe they would see that their players mean business. But as long as players join the broken event GGE will do nothing to fix or compensate anyone for the first round.
I have named my castle "train wreck", in honor of this event
which btw gge...it is still broken, lol.
hmmm, interesting timing on that 200% ruby bonus, trying get peeps to buy today? thx but no thanks

Event Timeline : Beyond the Horizon - 10 Day event from October 25 to November 3
Friday, October 25 - Beyond the Horizon event started. The event failed to run as intended.
Crom Cruach post Saturday, October 26 :
This is due to the popularity of the event. When the event started there was such a rush to enter that the map was populated too quickly to provide space for Capitals. We have made two efforts yesterday to force spawn Capitals at a range beyond the standard parameters and for the majority of players this was effective. However for Alliances still affected we have decided to not spawn Capitals at an even broader range as it would leave them at quiet a distance from the Alliance members. We will look into a more elegant solution on Monday, Influence is still being acquired and stored so your progress is not being lost. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
[ We, the customers in good faith believed GGE for the elegant fix. We spent money and competed from Friday, October 25 to Sunday, October 27. ]
Monday, October 28 --- We heard NOTHING. Elegant FIX promise failed to arrive.
Crom Cruach post Tuesday, October 29:
We are working on a solution for the problems and Alliance Capitals are the number one priority. If the solution was simple we would have already implemented it. However it is not and we are working away to get a fix in place.
[ in good faith, players continue to spend. GGE continue to profit. ]
Crom Cruach post Tuesday, October 29:
Capitals are present for a very large majority of alliances. The main ones affected by this are one man alliances. We are hoping to have a fix but I can't predict as to when. The event is being left to run.
[ in good faith, players continue to spend. GGE continue to profit. ]
Crom Cruach post Tuesday, October 29:
At this point I don't have enough information to really provide an answer. I don't want to say something and have it turned out to be wrong. QA and our developers are working hard to fix the issues and we will do our best for you.
[ in good faith, players continue to spend. GGE continue to profit. ]
Wednesday, Otober 30 : MacDrizzleer and myself from ElitGuards posted to END the event. Refund our money etc..
Crom Cruach post Friday, November 1:
We will allow the event to finish as it is. We were unable to fix some of the problems with the event but when it returns these will be fixed and the event will run as intended.
GGE intentionally kept the event running to profit from a broken event. This act is FRAUDULENT. GGE had the option to terminate the event sooner instead taking advantage of their customers.
We get email confirmation from every purchase we make from GGE. The true good will GGE should have done was terminate the event. Had their customer support look into the purchases email confirmation and, sent Vouchers to those customers who spent money as way of Refund to be used when the BTH is fixed and good to run again. Plus, the Gift Package to all players who jumped in as token of apologies for the inconvenience. This move may have generated GGE more sales.
I am declining the joke gift package and will not jump in the BTH event scheduled tomorrow, November 14. Am I hopeful that GGE will do the right thing? ………
Glad to post my alliance did not join the BTH Round 2 awaiting for GGE to do the right thing.

Thanks for taking the time to write in to us, I was really sorry to hear of the problem you'd been having. My name is Joey and I'll be helping you out today.
The error message you're receiving is incorrect, there is a limit of 5 City States which can be held by an alliance at any one time. As such everything is working as intended, but the error message you are getting is very misleading!
We're aware of the issue and hope to have it resolved soon!

this info is not correct.. my alliance currently holds 7 or 8 city states.. why would tech support lie to me?

Ruby buyers will always win here and if they are spending the amount they are so be it, you dont need to spend to still get something out of it.
The top teams do have capitals, they have just changed leaders and spent rubies to rename the capital so its harder to find.
Who doesn't have a capital?DeeJayKay (US1) said:end of day 1 and 7 of the top 8 teams have no capital....
When i double check this i see that all the teams do have capitals, just that the alliance leader isn't the one holding it.
