What is daily refresh time in Beyond the Horizon event? I mean at what time individual influence changes to alliance influence?

The server refreshes sometime between midnight and one. It will change at that point.

 "you can cap a city with a minute left and its over in that minute"
I understand that this is the way it will work.

@Crom Cruach how does this work? also is it based on the top 1-1400 people with influence at the last moment? or is it based on this screen

hope for a fast answer

Oh isn't that just priceless, GGS are devious aren't they?

Forewarned that players are just going to enter at the end of the event they introduce individual prizes with monumental amounts of construction materials to entice people in earlier.

However, the problem is they are actually compounding the problem because only the top 400 individuals receive the prize and everyone knows the ruby behemoths who are going to top the alliance rankings will be the ones to raid the most targets propelled by the power of plastic.

May as well just give these to the top Alliance Winners.

If they changed it to be point levels reached could win rewards, like the OR Daily Duties, it would be better......

i dont see where its any different the only chalange is how much real money someone is willing to spend starting at say lv70 castle just means all the little rubie buyers are just throwing their money away.

top allainces dont hit each other just the small allainces so they buy the top spots not earn

put a lv limit on who you can hit would make it more interesting

daily rewards also the idea of only last day counts is dumb in my opinion

[5088298] sboy777 (US1) [US1] :: Dec. 4, 2019, 2:36 a.m.
the indy rewards are only for alliance funds.. waste of time imho

I dont know how to tag a mod/community manager im trying @Crom Cruach
Is there a MAX on how many city states and alliance can hold?
How about a Max on the number we can cap at a time?
Seems to be only allowing 1 for each player
A couple of us are geting an error when trying to cap 1 now -
http://prntscr.com/q6939z

we have a total of 4 people with 1 city state each right now -
So bug? normal?

[5088411] Philt123 (GB1) [GB1] :: Dec. 4, 2019, 7:15 p.m.
its normal.

Each player can only hold 1 city state at any one time, and the alliance can only hold 5 at any one time.

I believe that incudes ones you are on the way to.  So if you have 4 and someone is one the way to one that will lock everyone else out from capping one

well there is none traveling to cap and we hold 4 total.
I just double checked - 4 being held- zero on travel to cap
still errors on me and on another player trying as well
@Crom Cruach can you look into this please and give some feedback

Also where can I find here on the forum the rundown on this even-information(like only 5 citys per alliance, etc.. a link would be helpful - ty

Good to see my old French alliance Insomniak are doing well in the rankings. Bravo la France!!! In the last outers a few days ago, it was Parabellum so, it seems that it isn't always the German alliances that dominate these temporary server games.

[5088455] dliu3 (US1) [US1] :: Dec. 5, 2019, 3:17 a.m.
I got hit by a level 70 the first day. Ruby buyers have way too much power in this.

This is my shocked face.  :|

WHO could have predicted that the leaders in the Individual Contest would also be members of the leaders of the Alliance Contest?

OH, that's right!  Everyone knew it......…...

EDIT: What is up with the image settings????  This was a nice easy to read full size view in the preview.  But, here on the main screen it is little bitty.  Just another way to make it hard to SHOW issues in the game, I bet...….

Starting off, I would like to say that the event is interesting and I think it has potential. In general, I enjoy it.

Now to add some constructive criticism / suggestions.

I - No scale. This event is only really for heavy spenders; to join this event without spending ( or spending less than the heavy spenders; we all pay for the game regardless of how much we spend, yes? ) and actually putting in effort is to literally just become someone that gets mugged daily by those who feel entitled and want you to be thankful that they pay for the game to exist ( yes, this kind of attitude / justification is literally being promoted in this event; sounds historically familiar ).

Ia - How do we fix this? One of the things I noticed is that the level scale is broken. While it may be working as intended, it certainly does not 'work'. For example, when you fight an NPC camp, you are forced to use waves and troop numbers that are appropriate for their level. Against players, you are not. You have level 70s who can attack level 20s at will with 4-6 waves depending on how much they spend, whereas a level 20 can only man X amount of troops on the wall and can only mount a counter attack with 2 waves. My suggestion; implement a level 'bar' modeled after the NPC camps. Bring the higher level down to the lower players level. Chances of them winning are slightly better, but let's face it; veteran demon horrors with relic commanders are knocking anyways, so it's only a small stab at fair play. One that is totally reasonable, however.

II - Blanket clutter. At present, the only other thing I can see is something that is probably a little more difficult to address ( and is relatively minor ), especially due to the hastiness of trying to pack everyone everywhere in...and that's the silliness of the world map. You've got a dozen capitals holding hands on the same screen, and on the other you've got three dozen city-states blanketed across the map ( also holding hands ). Now to me, this seems a bit absurd, and is also a huge eye sore. Things are way to packed.

IIa - How do we fix this? Can it be fixed? The event already lags like mad, so perhaps doing more will only make it worse, but if it doesn't, my only suggestion is to spread things out a bit.

Hopefully these are taken as they are intended and not as simply me attacking the company; this is legitimate, honest feedback, and things that I fully believe could help improve the experience. After all, making a game is about the passion and vision of the game, not JUST the money. Although the money is nice! :)

Respectfully,
- Ach

It seems to me that just like the individual outers, it is for those level 70 players who are frustrated because of a lack of real PvP on their own servers because of restrictions. I mean, I heard that on the US server, you CANNOT hit an outpost, what is that all about? If you are going to be hit by another player, then everywhere is game, as it is here on the UK server. It is a ridiculous restriction that was put in place when KoN was the big cheese of the US server. By reducing the number of targets from 7 to only 4.

Now, to the point in question, as referenced slightly above, at the end of the day, it is no holds barred and as such, every player has the right to hit whoever they choose. In outers, I got hit by Rudy and he was a level 70 and I was a level 15, however, because I had so many essence like thingies, that I was a prime target to increase his score. If you want to compete with the big boys, then you have to spend like the big boys do. I am just there for fun now and going to look at my castle once every 3 days. If I get attacked, so be it, it has no implications on my actual account on my server so, no worries.

 I was not and am not suggesting otherwise. I am merely suggesting that players fight at an appropriate level when doing so, like with NPC camps. I am not suggesting limited troop types, tools or commanders. In the regular kingdoms, there is an honor / glory penalty for attacking lower levels; here there is nothing, so I believe there should be some kind of 'bar' that normalizes the difference in levels while retaining the advantage that ruby buyers ( myself included, at times; tho much more in the past than now ) seek to gain.

In that case, how long have you been playing Outers for then? You can bet any player from any server, including the US server (yes, I was attacked by a level 70 player from the US server whilst I was a level 12) yet I didn't complain because I know exactly what happens. Agreed about the honour/glory penalties and it should be like that as it is standard on all servers. However, Outers/BTH is simply a temporary server where anything goes. It helps those who have a built up frustration of not being able to do PvP, do it. It gives players a mixture of an event with PvP in the mix. Again, you must have known that there is no fair-play out there. In fact, about 95% of those castles that you seen on the map are just players who connected to Outers/BTH and are just there to get the end rewards, I know I do.
