Gold production belongs to the main castle.
There is no decrease of public order in main castle only in the outpost.
All level ups of building can be done without castle level. There exist no castle levels.
You can pick out any building without having others and you are able to level them as high as you want. Stopping at the level limit.

Perfect are outposts with 6 or 8 food.
There you can have 6 or 8 farmhouses with 100% efficiency.
After this you have normal decreasing efficiency, 75%, 56%,....
With that outposts you can feed loads of soldiers.
The soldiers in the outpost eat in the outpost.
You can send them permanent to the main castle.
Than they eat in the main castle.

The space in outpost can be extended independent from any levels too.
So you can make enough space from the beginning of outpost.

Only the castellan is very slow when conquer an outpost.
Transport and moving of soldiers have the speed of alliance.
And this is very very fast.

First you should build a storage that the resources that you send from the main castle to the outpost not get lost and the resources that will be produced in outpost not get lost too.

To send resources to the outpost you dont need a market place. But you should build one, because later you want send the food that you produce in outpost to the main castle. You should take care to send the soldiers that conquer the outpost back home to main castle. There is only little food in the beginning of an outpost. The soldiers start to eat in the main castle when they arrived there – not before.

There are many concepts for having an effective outpost.
Later I will introduce some concepts and strategies.

For example:

As my personal concept I build in all outposts a barrack too. As I have the resources I will level them up. That enables me to produce soldiers at the same time in my outposts. Up to this point I was only able to recruit one after another. With the further barracks I am able to arm up with more speed. And I can move the soldiers permanent to main castle or other outposts. The level up of the keep fasten the level speed I overstayed to do.

Excuse my english its not my native language.

Hope the informations help and maybe badgoodgod can translate into proper english.

With compliments munele

Great Enlgihs,as well as the write-up ;)

Hello I was wondering something. If I would decide to abandon my outpost do I get some resources back from it or do I have to destroy every building and send those resources to my main castle? Anyone have an idea about this? Open for suggestions :D.

No I just started surrendering mine and it said "Warning: you will lose all resources and tools and stuff if you surrender!

just wondering, how does the outpost looks once it is abandoned by owner.does it have the buildings he had built.

No it doesn't have the buildings he built! It goes back to the same outpost!

Will an outpost, that is a distance from my main camp, allow an earlier warning of an approaching attack from that direction ?

Hi!
I wanted to know if it's possible to abandon an outpost voluntarily.
I have a outpost of 2 food and 8 wood, but now I'm interested in another one with 2 food and 8 stones. Now, I'm constructing most of my buldings with stones and I use more of them than I did on the past.

I'd like to change this outpost and send my castellan to another one with food and stone.

Do you know if it's possible to do that? Which way I can do it?

Thank you! :D

What you do is you go to your outpost, then look at the bottom right. You can see there is a little box with an arrow pointing up. When moused over, it should say economy. Click on it, and a little menu appears. Click on the throne that says Management when moused over, and click on the icon on the bottom right of the window that shows up, when moused over it says surrender outpost.

Man. So undecided.
How OFTEN DO YOU GET A CASTELLAN?

Why I ask:
I'm a Level 31. I just got another one.

At present: I have 2 outposts--an 8 Stone, 2 Food and 6 Wood, 2 Food.
There are literally NO shiny outposts near me--except one. (8 min away)---an 8 wood. 2 food.
The closest shiny FOOD outpost-- is over an hour away.

When is next time I get a castellan?
Advice?

Should I just get the food one now?
When is next time I get a castellan?
I guess my hesitation is --that all the advice I see is --GET SHINY OUTPOSTS--but also: GET FOOD.
Advice?

Thanks in advance.

If you have someone capturing your outpost, can you open the gate and have them still be able to capture it, or is it only good for actual attacks?

[1519581] SuperNinjaMunky [None] :: March 26, 2013, 2:52 a.m.
There is a maximum of only three castellans because of the estate. Therefore, when the estate is fully upgraded, you can't upgrade it to get more castellans. This means a maximum of only three outposts, which does kinda suck. I hope this helps and isn't too redundant or confusing

Look at the other comments. They will help. This goes to all of those people who keep asking the same questions that have been asked at least a dozen times and still don't have a clue on how to do it. I know this forum is supposed to be helpful, but people should seriously at least search around a little before they type in a redundant question.

If you capture an outpost, and during the time that it is occupied, if an opponent attacks, will it still be detected in the same way your castle itself was attacked? Will alliance members also see? Also, what exactly determines who gets the outpost after the occupation period? Thanks!

You get a castellan when you upgrade your estate. What did you think the estate was for? Don't build something unless you know what it does.

The estate is unlocked at level 13, with the second level being available from level 19 (from memory) and the third level from 31. There is no level 4.

Many thanks for this explanation, but there is one thing I cannot do: sending the army back to the main castle. How do you do this?

Click on your main castle and there will be a resource transport visit castle and station.
Click the station button and choose what troops you want to send.

Your alliance will be able to see any attack on you, whichever castle or outpost.

Will an outpost stay on fire if you capture it when it is on fire?

When you capture an outpost, some of the buildings go to rubble, which has to be destroyed. Others set on fire.

If the castle has existing fires, yes, that will mean that the outpost will end up on fire even more.

Think of an outpost as an exact copy of your main castle in function, but with different resources and different world map icon. All attacks will be detected like in the main castle. It can receive and if it has a marketplace, send resources like a normal castle can. However, you obviously cannot build an estate there, or everyone would have infinite outposts.

I would encourage people to get a food/wood outpost, and a food/stone, you can get ones that are shiney, those are called super outposts, ie. superfood/wood, or superwood/food, where as you can have 6 to 8 of the primary resource. using the food outposts allows you to have the ability to create a substantial attack force, remember to save your rubies to get a bakery so that you can reduce the food consumed by your forces in the outpost. However, different players use them in different ways, so if you are part of an alliance check up with your higher level players, or if your alliance is smaller in nature, I have found that most of the higher level players, are more than willing to offer some advice. Take what works for you and enjoy.

Also, yes you can use your outposts to assist in completing your quests, depending on the nature of the quest.

Hope this helps
