Yeah I understand that part but there are different kind some with shines behind their outposts and some with stars on the resources at the front what is the difference between those?

They're the same thing.
If they sparkle/have stars/are shiny, they produce more of their primary resource than a non shiny OP.

HI thanks for that, Im desperate for an answer! How can I fortify my outpost? My keep is level two, but my walls are still wood based? at the same time i cant post any bricks to the walls?

Question 1: How do i "Disown an Outpost" The context is that if I am moving to a different location how do i make sure I can still have a outpost near me. Or does the outpost move as well?

You can upgrade your walls in the construction menu. Their is a tab that looks like a stone wall. The option to upgrade walls under that tab.

Your outpost does not move with you, so you will have to abandon your OP when you move, if you want your OP's to be near your main castle. To abandon the OP, go to the OP you want to abandon, go to the management tab (It looks like a wooden crate in the bottom right hand corner). One of the drop-down selections is Management, under that tab there is the option to abandon an OP. It takes 24 hours to abandon, then your castellan will automatically appear back in your main castle and you will be able to capture a new OP.

its up to u really, i have some dwelling in my OPs, so i can get some coins/taxes..

I have a question for all of you. I have a friend that is done playing the game and gave me permission to capture an outpost of his but he has some special attack units in it without a stronghold.

I want to capture the outpost with the units in it but am afraid if I launch the capture it will kill them off in the process. Is this so? If so is there a way he can open up his gates for me to capture it without a fight?

ok i have a castellan but when i go to capture an outpost it says i need a free castellan what gives..how do i get more?

I found a op at a ruined castle. There are other people in the alliance from this ruined castle. The out posts haven't been captured by the alliance the (flags don't match) and letters to notify that we are about to capture one of these outposts have had no response. Now that my army is very close they say it is theirs and tell me to pull back. I cannot ,too close . So since they have not captured these outposts and they have no ACTIVE castle attached are they open for capture ?

You can capture any outpost you like, save for your alliances' and pacts' outposts.

You are unable to do so. Your outpost is gone. By the way, this question has already been answered on this thread. Look through it.
