Hello guys.
As I was looking on world map, I've noticed some exclamation mark under some castles. Not every castle ... many of them doesn't have any. I was wondering what are those marks indicate.

The exclamation mark lets you know players who are looking for alliances to join.

THis already has been posted more than once in the forums, but the answer to your question is the pruple exclamation mark means that those players are looking for alliances to join.

It doesn't mean they are looking it means they just aren't in one.

No, it means they are looking for one. It can be turned on/off in the alliance search settings if you are not in an alliance. Which has been stated many times before.

This is probably the only question I will ever ask,but what are those exclamation marks under somebodies castle?

There like a light purple thing with the white exclamation in the middle.

Please use SEARCH function as you can see this has already been asked and answered before. The exclamation mark lets you know players who are looking for alliances to join, as Itt states the player in question can switch this mode on or off if they choose.

means they are looking for an alliance!

I read through the whole forum and could find any post about this, so I am starting one.

Here is what I figured:

- Some castles have a fraction of circle with a sign or icon below them, on the map.
- For some castles, it is the logo of their guild.
- For some other castles, they have a white '!' on purple background.
- Some of the castles with this '!' are turning to ruins over time.



From the above, I would have figured that this '!' means that this player is inactive and soon to turn to ruins (not sure how many days warning).
However that is not possible, since one of my first 'Sword brothers' is definitely active, has a green activity bar, and yet has that sign below his castle (even after clearing the cache).
Furthermore, the same '!' just appeared under the castle of one of my sword brother whose green activity bar is full.


Now, my questions:

- So, what precisely is that '!' for, if not always an inactivity mark ? Could it be related to citizens happiness instead, for instance a sign that they are about to revolt if the bar is fully red, or something like that ?
- Is the '!' under my sword brother's castle a bug (I have a screenshot which I am not posting here but can pass on to the support if this is the case) ?

The symbols show a players rank in their alliance, (member= helmet, sergeant= plumed helmet, general= silver crown, leader= gold crown) the exclamation mark show they are not in an alliance but have set the "looking for alliance" flag so alliances looking for new members might consider inviting them.
