you should be able to get 25 kingsgaurdsmen kinghts and crossbowmen if you complete at least 1 tower

You don't have to do rubbish. In about 2 hours I will have defeated all 19 towers WITHOUT spending a single ruby.

Just the Necromancer's castle gives more than 10K coins. There are 19 towers - I would estimate that you get at least 100K coins from defeating all of them. You get a total of 900 rubies and 500 special troops. I don't think that's a waste at all.

Hopefully next time they will do one of two things:

1. Eliminate the "send resources" option because people are complaining about it and they are so stupid that they would complain less if they didn't have the option in the first place. They are also farming less small resource villages and if they even tried to attack them then they would realise that they can easily get literally hundreds of thousands of resources within the time limit.

2. Multiply the building costs (apart from the ruby ones), the event resource quest rewards, the resource storage (main tent and supply storage area) the loot from towers/villages and the loot capacity of all soldiers while they are in the event by 10. Let players send in resources without losing a single one but when they send back the resources at the end, only let 10% survive. They will then think that they are better off because of the "no resource loss" due to the fact that they are so stupid that they won't even realise everything is exactly same proportionately.

INCORRECT. After 2 hours, 200 resources arrived. Next time you might want to do one of the following:

a) READ what it says on the original page, especially the bit where it says "Resources actually arriving" and "Travel Time - 2 hours"
b) READ this thread where there have been several people lacking a brain saying the same thing as you
c) Find someone who is smarter than a dead monkey and tell them the "problem"

You end up getting 250 kingsguard knights and 250 kingsguard crossbow. I really don't think that getting more, especially near the start of the event, solves anything.

No. You get them from certain quests, most of which involve attacking certain amounts of towers.

Well, if I was making a new account to talk to myself, I would make it on a different server to avoid the "multiple accounts" rule. :P

Anyway, I have officially defeated the 19th tower without using veterans (using 2HS and HCB) and without using rubies at the low level of 44 (it's taken me a while to get to the veteran upgrade, and I level up fast, but tomorrow I will have unlocked veteran mace).

good for you, but, you say "I don't have veterans" like that actually make a BIG difference, veterans are 8% and 6% I think more of power than the other high level attackers, they make a difference, but not a big one

I never said it made a big difference - I just thought I'd say it in case anyone was thinking that they couldn't do it with HCB and 2HS. Besides, 6/8% can be a lot - I've had up to 300 of each at a time, and I need 318 ranged and 324 melee to have the equivalent of 300 of each veteran. Don't tell me 42 soldiers aren't important - I've lost and won battles from just 2/3 troops surviving.

Every soldier is Important even 1% can make a difference, and another thing if this event is made for people of level who already have the level 5 barracks (well at least mostly of them) who will think that you can't complete the event without veterans?, and congratulations again ^_^

you cannot go beyond your storage limit. so plan your logistics carefully as the troops and resources that you take arrive instantly with the click of the exit button
